Butterfly Blueprint!

Hi there!

I hope you are all enjoying your day...

Last night before venturing to bed, I just had to sneak back into the craft room and have a little play around...the Tim Holtz stamps that I had purchased recently were calling me to create something..

So I took out the stamp and inked the butterfly blueprint up stamping it onto a tag that I created and started to water colour the butterfly in with my Inktense pencils, I did the same again onto some water colour paper and added that butterfly to the other one already coloured on the tag, grunging the outside stamped section of the butterfly with more Inktense pencils and splatterings of Mr Huey's Mists, adding the tag with twine to a stamped woodgrain background.

I find water colouring to be so relaxing and super fun too!

Here is a close up of the butterfly, after it was all dry I added some sparkle to the wings and body, using those fun Sakura Gelly Roll Pens...

Well before heading to work, I am off to play in the craft room again and see if I can knock a few deadlines out of the way..

Have a wonderful day and as always thanks for stopping by..

Hugs
