I trust you all had a wonderful and happy Christmas..
Ours was a quiet day and really nice, nice not have to worry about going to work and serving the crowds of waiting customers..
Today, once again has been a day of much needed rest, Darryl and I have really lounged around and well for Roly that is just his normal every day occurrence LOL so no different for him on that front..
For today's post, it is back to normal as usual and today is the start of a new Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp..
The DT gals decided to show case something a little different for today's challenge, we all had a little secret Santa swap, we created something for the person we were giving to and also brought just a few little goodies for that person also..
I had the pleasure creating for Jennifer, she gave me a few hints and one of those things was, that she loved red...
Last year for all the girls in my family I created charms that they could use on their keys or handbags and so immediately I knew what I was creating for Jennifer..these charms are super quick to make also, once you have the hang of it..
I attached all the beads to Swivel Clasps from Tim Holtz and to finish the project off, I also attached the initial of Jennifer's first name using the Type Charms..as you can see from the below photo..
Here is the charm spread out so that you can view what beads were on the swivel clasp..
I am keeping my fingers crossed that Jennifer's little gift package arrived safely :)
To see the other DT gals projects and the details of the new challenge, just click the blinkie below...
As always the lovely and sweet Heidi will give one lucky winner $50 to spend in store...
Well that wraps up today's post, just a little something different for you to view...and maybe some ideas for some presents next year for Christmas..
As you will be reading this, I will be more the likely snoring my head off as I am super tired after the lead up to Christmas at work and all that we do around our own homes prior to the festive day, so snoring may happen tonight..LOL
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs

Beautiful charm, I love the colors. Lucky Jennifer.
What a beautiful charm. I can attest how beautiful your charms are Joy, as I still have mine on my handbag! You are super talented. Jennifer would have just loved this one.
I have to say that this keychain w/charms completely caught my eye as I was scrolling through the latest Simon Says challenge. Red is my favorite color, and I have only recently begun making what I call "card jewelry" (stick pins), so this kind of craft is right up my alley. Thanks for the lovely inspiration for stocking stuffers for the girls next year - you've done a beautiful job and I am going to bookmark this project for future reference! :)
Oh what a fabulous charm Joy.
