Hero Arts 2013 Catalogue Debut!

Hello friends!

So excited to share and be involved with the debut of the Hero Arts 2013 Catalogue...

To bring in the new Catalogue, some wonderfully talented designers are sharing their talents with you all today in a blog hop..

You should have arrived from the uber sweet, funny and talented gal Julie Ebersole if not just head back to the main blog to see the master list..

Unfortunately, for me time has not really been on my side, my stamps arrived a little late and with work being hideously ridiculous leading up to Christmas, this did not leave me a lot of time to just sit and play like I would have liked..

So I made some fairly basic cards, the CAS style that hopefully reaches those readers that may be just starting out in stamping or the ones that really just like a clean palette..

This first one, I embossed the Flower Loop background onto water colour paper and coloured the sections in using Tim Holtz Distress Markers, finishing the card off with a simple sentiment Thinking of You...my photography does not really show how beautiful the colours are in real life..

My second card, I went for a more simple masculine style card, lets face it, most men don't like too much of the flowery type to the cards that they receive..so by stamping the fabulous Tweed Pattern background with the soft granite ink, adding a Thank You sentiment from the Fancy Basics stamp set, adding some black rhinestones and adhering it to a card that one side of the card I added an ombre coloured section using Copics.

Be sure to comment along the way, as Hero Arts have prize packs of new stamps to giveaway to randomly selected comments from blogs, you have until Monday 17th of December to comment and winners will be announced after that date...

Remember, if you find a link that is broken, you can always go back to the master list to view..

I am sure you would love to see some more eye candy, so now lets jump over to Maile Belles to see what fabulous creation she is sharing...

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs
