A couple of things here before I share my crafty creation, just wanting to wish all the Dad's out there today a very Happy Fathers Day...
The other thing I wish to say is a big thank you to everyone for all the lovely wishes that have been left on my blog over the last few days, the decision to leave Purple Onion Designs was quite a hard one indeed and knowing all the support that has been left for me has been truly touching, so thank you to you all!
Now, today marks the second day into our Spring weather, I can hardly believe it, I mean it is still very cold here and this morning I woke to a huge frost, but then on venturing to the bathroom I looked out the window to see that the blossom tree at the side of our house was almost in full blossom blooms.. so this is a sure indication that the weather is on the move...I love Spring but will must admit I am kinda sad that Winter is now gone as that means Summer is rearing it's ugly head just around the corner (as you can tell I am not a Summer gal LOL).
So with Spring here, I thought it would be fun to share a light and breezy with a touch of Summer for you all today, very clean and simple..
Using of the new collections from BasicGrey, Soleil, I created a flower out of some yummy patterned paper, matching it was some white on white chevron die pieces and a sentiment to complete the card..
Well, the frosty layer of the day is starting to wear off and we are in for a glorious Spring day, so that means doors and windows open on the house and cleaning process begins, before heading to work..

I don't care for Summer either and I'm quite happy it's moving on! Fall is next and that's my favorite!
Beautiful card! I love that new paper and your flowers are always so gorgeous. Love the dies cut out of white too, the result looks deeper than an embossing folder, really lovely :)
I had to check the date on the post twice before I remembered you are "down under" and leaving winter and entering Spring!! So hard to wrap my head around June, July and August being cold months!! We are looking forward to the end of a very hot summer and the start of cooler fall weather. Love your blog, Joy!! I learn so much. Hugs.
