Case Study Anniversary Blog Hop!

Hello peeps! today I have a special post for you...

As you all know if you have been following my blog I was the June Muse for Case Study Challenge blog and had such a fun time creating and guest designing for them...

This month Case Study Challenge Blog are celebrating their 2 year anniversary...they are having some fun celebrations, lots of blog hopping and prizes to be won...Last Thursday the first of the blog hopping began with lots of fabulous and talented ladies sharing their Signature Style...and this week there is another line up of more fabulous and talented ladies show casing projects of Think Outside the Box...

If you have arrived from Julie Smith's Blog then you are on the right track, if not please be sure to check back with the Case Study Challenge blog for the master list...

Now for the crafty side of things...I must admit this was quite a challenge to come up with something that was Outside of the Box...creating something that I had never really been able to tackle before and well I had a huge amount of fun creating it...

My project today was totally inspired by one of the most talented and super sweet ladies out there in this crafting industry, that being, Melissa Phillips...her style is so gorgeous, I adore the Shabby Chic approach to many of her creations and one that I have always been in awe of for many years...

So after researching a lot of the creations she had made I manage to adapt that to my style and this is what I created..

I love the pretty embellishments, ribbons and glitter that Melissa adds to her creations and so I knew that I wanted that to feature on my card also...

I die cut a bird from grunge board using the Tim Holtz Caged Bird die, added paint, distress ink and glitter to the bird, adding it to a die cut doily that was distressed with ink, layering it to pattern paper with seam binding added to one side, finishing with a die cut flower from fabric, sentiment and pearls...

I do hope that this card lives up to Melissa's style...

We hope that you will play along with us all this week and just on a note here there are some awesome prizes up for grabs if you hop along with us... What you need to do in order to qualify for any of them, is simply hop with us, and leave a comment at each stop.

Now, onto the next stop, which is Julee Tilman  ....

Thanks goes out to Iwona and the DT of the Case Study Challenge Blog for asking me to blog hop with them all...

I hope you have lots of fun checking out so many wonderful and inspiring creations...

Enjoy your day!

Hugs
