Smiling Today!

Hello peeps! Well that is exactly what I have been doing today..smiling...I woke this morning to check my emails and received an email that has had me beaming all day long, at present I cannot share this news with you, but please know that as my wonderful readers, you will be the first to know when I can finally share this with you all..

On other news to make me smile, I finally got control of my dreaded house work, so nice to once again have a clean house and after tomorrow's finishing touches I will be able to spend the rest of the day in the craft room...so I am sure I will be smiling again tomorrow...

To hopefully make you all smile, I created this card a couple of weeks ago, using one of my all time favourite goodies from Papertrey Ink, Lovely Layers stamp and dies...I swoon everytime I get to play with this...

Using lots of soft colours to create a layered flower and stamping a background feature to match the soft colours on the flower, finishing off with a sentiment that is just so sweet...

So that was the crafty side of things, how about I change it up and share a recipe with you all...I tweeted today what I had for lunch and thought that I would share it all here with you also, that is if you are interested...

This is what I call my Satay Chicken Focaccia...

Starting out by finely slicing red onion, green capsicum and shredding a BBQ chicken, place in a bowl and add Satay Sauce over the top, half a Focaccia or what I normally use Turkish Bread and place the Satay Chicken on top, add sliced tasty cheese, grill or place in oven until the cheese has melted...

YUMMO!!!

Really quick and great for a snack or a fab lunch that you can add some salad on the side...

Well that has made me a little hungry, so I am off now to see what I can rustle up for dinner..once that is done I am settling in for the night and watching some Olympic Games..got to catch some of the opening ceremony which was amazing...

Have a fabulous night!

Hugs
