Girl Friday!

Hello there lovely people! Saturday and after a long day at work, all I wanted to do was have dinner and make a card, so that is exactly what I did...

I have had the new collection from October Afternoon 9 to 5 sitting in my craft room for almost 2 weeks and knew tonight was the night I wanted to create something with it..

When I began to create, I started to think of all those wonderful old movies that were set around the 1950's and 1960's, I adore old movies like that and so I went ahead and created a card to honour that era...

Using lots of products from the collection and with just a little addition of stamping and well lets face it, a girl could not resist to add some bling to complete a card :)

Makes me want to sit at home tomorrow before heading to work and pull out one of my all time favourite old movies..

I loved this movie so much, an easy going, no swearing, fun movie, sometimes that is all a girl needs to start her day out to a good start...

Well that is me for the night, I am currently laying in bed, surfing around and off now to watch some You tube videos..

Have a fantastic night!

Hugs

Super great card! Lots of lovely things to see. I am with you on that movie-I love any of the old Rock Hudson/Doris Day, James Gardner/Doris Day, Cary Grant/Doris Day movies. I guess I like any movie with Doris Day. Also love Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin movies.

This is a WONDERFUL card! It reminded me right away of a movie called Desk Set (1957) with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn!
