Case Study Challenge June Muse!

Hello there everyone! beautiful day here at the cottage today, so lots to get done, but first I wanted to pop in here and share some news with you all...for the month of June I have been invited by Iwona (Chupa) from the Case Study Challenge to be the June Muse..super exciting..

I cannot even begin to tell you how fun this is going to be, not only seeing what the other DT gals come up with using my cards as inspiration but also for me, this really is stretching my skills, I have found this to be a challenge indeed, coming up with something that I have already designed is quite hard..LOL but a good challenge I feel.

Here is the card that Iwona chose for us all to use as inspiration....lots of purple!

Here is what I came up with....

Using lots of my favourite go to colour, which is white, keeping with the same circle design and using the same impression plate to create sections either side of the purple butterfly I coloured in withe Copics, adding pattern paper underneath so that it showed between the trimmed gaps, finishing off with a birthday sentiment.

Keeping it quite to my usual style of Less is More :)

Well I don't know about you, but I cannot wait to jump on over to check out all the DT cards to see what they came up with and I so look forward to seeing what you all create too...

Have fun playing!

Hugs!

Welcome to the Pantheon, Joy :) I'm so glad you see it as a constructive challenge! I remember finding it hard to CASE myself too, but once you get in the gear it's tons of fun!

Woohoo, Joy, you'll be a wonderful muse! Both your cards are stunning, but somehow I like the 2nd one better, so that challenging yourself thing is not bad at all. ;)

Congrats on being CASE Study Muse! The original card is gorgeous. The one you just created is ever as much! I love the background in the circle and the colors on that butterfly. So clever the way you divided the embossed paper!
