Today over at Simon Says we start a new challenge, and I have to say that the last challenge it was so fun seeing what everyone's favourite tools were...today we are start a new challenge and this week is all about April Showers Bring Spring Flowers...fun fun!
The DT gals have decided to show case beautiful Basic Grey products...here is my card for your inspiration.
I used lots of pattern paper form the new 6 x 6 Paper Pad Plumeria, stamping a trimmed piece with the background stamp Life of the Party Dots, which was inked with Hero Arts Mid Tone Pool ink, adding Black Soot to the edges of the pattern paper to make it pop. Next, I trimmed more pattern paper which I trimmed a V in one end and adhered to the background paper. To add the flowers to this card I took the wonderful new stamp set from Basic Grey/Hero Arts called Pattern Hearts and Flowers, stamping this onto several pieces of pattern paper with Versamark Ink, heat embossing with white embossing powder. Trimming the different flowers and leaves from all the pattern papers. Adhering each of the flowers to the leaves with foam dimensionals and then adhering this to the trimmed V paper with more foam dimensionals. I finished the card by stamping a sentiment onto white card stock and adhered this also to the pattern paper with foam dimensionals, adding this all to a trimmed white card and finishing the flowers off with some pearls to each of the centres.
This is such a fabulous way to use up those scraps that may be lying around..
Don't forget to click on the blinkie below to see the fab DT projects and the details of the new challenge, cannot wait to see what you all create...
Also as normal the wonderful Heidi will give one lucky winner $50 to spend in store...
Okay, have to go hang some clothes out on the line to hang out over night and then get dinner on...
I hope that you all enjoy your night..
Hugs
