Hello Sunshine!

Hello friends! today I wanted to pop in and share a quick card with you all, I created this card before leaving for work the other day and have been itching to try out a technique that Jennifer McGuire used using the Intertwined Mask from Studio Calico...make sure to click HERE to see the video that she created...I just know that you will be hooked as much as I was.

Using lots of yummy pattern paper from the new line from Basic Grey called PB&J, I trimmed a solid dark navy piece down to fit smaller the the front of a card and taking the Intertwined Mask I adhered it to the pattern paper with removable adhesive and using a white gel pen I began to draw the pattern onto the pattern paper...really cool effect, I set this aside to dry. Using more of the pattern paper from the paper pad, I ran it through the Cuttlebug a few times and cut several flowers from the Bloom Builders die 3 from Papertrey Ink, adhering the flowers together with a Basic Grey Stitched Brad (sorry not sure what collection it was from). Once the background paper had time to dry I adhered this along with another piece of trimmed pattern paper and a strip of white card stock to a trimmed white card. Adding twine and the flower to the front of the card also and finishing the card by adding a sentiment and pearls.

Simple and fun way to use masks, I have another idea in mind for using this mask in a fun way and if it turns out well I will share it with you all too.

I also have a video haul share for you, but you may need to find sometime to actual sit and watch, kinda a long video sorry...Enjoy!

Okay, I have to go get myself some lunch and head outside to wash the car...

Have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hugs

Love all your travel stuff. I'm still pinching myself that just 3 1/2 weeks ago I was actually strolling the rues of Paris! I especially loved the Paris tape early on in the video. Now I can't wait to start scraping some of the 3500 photos we took!
