Today, I am here to share another creation for Jay Gee's Nook....this time I created a card using my Copics once again and a sweet image from the Gorjuss collection.
I took the Puddles of Love stamp, inked with Memento Black ink and stamped onto card stock, coloured her in and trimmed the image out. I then created my own background pattern, by inking up the Dot Flower Pattern from Hero Arts, spritzing the inked stamp with some pearlised water and then laying the trimmed white card stock over the stamp, heat setting with the heat tool, (unfortunately, the photo does not show the beautiful shine). I backed the pattern card stock onto more white card stock, to give it a matt look. I added a sentiment and some rhinestones and completed the card by adding the card stock to a trimmed pink card.
Here is a close up of the coloured image...
I hope that you have all had some time to check out the first challenge of the year...and whilst you are over at the blog why not check out what the DT gals have created for eye candy today...
Okay, lots to do before heading to work and one that seems to be beeping at me, that being the washing machine, so that is my cue to go hang out the washing, nice windy day today so I am sure that the clothes line is going to be nice and full..
Have a wonderful day!
