Photo Challenge - Pocket Light!

Hi everyone! Sorry I have not been around for the last couple of days, but with this back I have not been able to create anything as sitting at the desk just hurts too much, my posting over the next few days will be a bit sporadic so please bear with me whilst I recover.

I do have a little something to tie you over whilst I will be away from the crafting table, so you are going to want to come back tomorrow to check out what that will be....

As for today, my next photo for Carly's Photo Challenge is here, thankfully I took these photos on Monday prior to injuring myself.

This weeks challenge was a fun one, as it was to be a photo capturing a pocket of light, I found that our french doors at the rear of our house allowed me to capture just that...

I took two photos this week, one was what I call my cutie...that being Roly boy, looking out the window waiting for his Dad to get home from work....it has been quite hot here lately so we tend to stay under the air conditioner trying to stay cool. Usually, late into the afternoon, Roly sits and waits for Darryl to arrive home, as he knows that is his dinner time.

The other was what I call the UGH! pile, yes my nightmare...the ironing..the ever growing pile that has been sitting in a basket ready to be ironed...I don't know about you, this chore of the household chores is my pet hate...I will do anything else bar it, and hence it seems to grow and grow....

Having fun playing along with Carly's challenges and I am so looking forward to waking up in the morning to see what next weeks will be...

Now, before I leave you all, I just want to send out the hugest thanks to all my readers and twitter friends that have sent me lots of love, support and get well wishes, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and I do promise that I will be back to blogging again normally soon.

Don't forget there will be a huge thing happening here on the blog tomorrow, so be sure to pop on by, you won't want to miss....

Have a wonderful rest of the day!

Hugs

I didn't know you hurt your back again! Geez, girl - you have got to stop doing that! I sure hope it heals quickly this time. Love these fabulous photos, Joy - sounds like you're really enjoying the class. Take care of yourself now, okay? Sending (gentle) hugs!

I love these photos, Joy! Your Roly is beautiful. :-) As for the ironing, I take everything off the line and put (hide) it away so that I can't see there is ironing to be done, LOL! Sometimes my clothes even straighten themselves out enough on the hangers (at least I tell myself so) so that I don't end up ironing at all. :-)

Oh I love your photos, Joy! The one of Roly is outstanding-perfection!! So sorry to hear about your back. I do hope you recover quickly. And I share your misery about ironing. Funny thing I always love the end result but it's pulling teeth to get me to set up everything and get to it:)

I hope you will be feeling better soon. I love your photo of Roly. Dogs are so smart and dedicated. (And I swear they can tell time). And the photo of your "to be ironed" stack made me laugh. I have one of those too.

Love both of your photos! Roly looks so thoughtful and making a full laundry basket look like art is definitely not easy but you did it! Hope your back is getting better fast!

It occurs to me that having a sore back is a perfect excuse for NOT ironing. That being said, I love your pictures. You certainly met Carly's challenge. Get well soon, but not so soon you have to iron.
