Tuesday Happiness!

Hello everyone! how is your week progressing? Well I know that you have been hearing this a lot lately, but yes only 1 more day of work left..then you guessed it Holidays start.

Yesterday, I must have been in holiday mode, really didn't do too much at all, but did manage to get into the craft room and create and this is one of the cards that I created.

100_5980

Taking some Layering Paper from Hero Arts and trimming to form a card, then inking up the Daisy Outline Pattern stamp with Soft Pool ink and stamping the front of the card. Next, trimming a tag like form of card stock out of white card stock, adhering it to some left over Layering Paper and adhering to the front of the card. Staying with more white card stock, I took one of the Butterflies from the Antique Engravings stamp set and stamped 3 butterflies onto the card stock, colouring each of them in with my PrismaColor Pencils and trimming them out. Taking each butterfly and adhering them to the white tag using Glossy Accents, finally, adding white gel pen to the centres of the Daisy's on the card front and stamping a sentiment from the Type stamp set.

Here is a closer look at the card.

100_5981

If you are looking to purchase Prismacolor pencils, it is so worth investing into the larger set of 72, I started out with 24 set but found that the range was a little limiting, although a great starting point, but if you have the money to invest 72 is a much better set with a lot more range of colours, especially the shading ones.

Okay before I leave you for the day, I just want to send out a little reminder that you have until Wednesday night 11pm (Australian Time) to enter the giveaway that I am having.

Alright, I am off to hang out some washing, as my washing machine is singing away to me, so that means the load has finished..

Have a wonderful day!

Vintage Dress Form!

Hi everyone! Sunday once again and that means for me only 3 more working days of work left until my holidays..Woohooo! Can you tell I am excited..LOL!

With that being Sunday, it is time for another card creation for Jay Gee's Nook, plus it is the start of the new Challenge..did you all get time to enter the last one..so loved that photo inspiration and this months photo inspiration is no exception.

Here is my take on the photo.

100_5971

Taking Papertrey Ink, Spring Moss card stock, trimming to form a card and running the front of the card through my Cuttlebug, embossing it with the PTI, Picnic Plaid Impression Plate, setting this aside to work on the rest of the card. I took white card stock and the Button Card Die Collection also from PTI, running it through my Cuttlebug and cutting to form a die cut. Next, using the coordinating stamp set Button Boutique I stamped over the die cut to form a vintage feel card, the ink that I used was Stick Candy from Jenny Bowlin. I added some pink buttons to the die cut and set this aside. Using yet another die from PTI, this time the Signature Series: Dress Form and running through my Cuttlebug, this time cutting a die cut out of Sweet Blush card stock, I stamped over the dress form using the polka dot stamps from PTI, Polka Dot Basics 2 stamp set, this was inked with Sweet Blush ink. I assembled the card by firstly, adding some Blossom Twine around the card, then adhered a doily and positioned the vintage tag and dress form on top of the doily. To complete the card I added a sentiment at the base from the Signature Series: Dress Form stamp set.

I just love the Button Boutique stamp set and I know that in my holidays this stamp set along with many more that have not seen much ink will be used quite frequently.

Okay I cannot contain myself any longer I need to head off and see what Judith and Ange have created using the beautiful inspiration photo.

Make sure whilst you are at the blog that you check out the store...I know that the new line of Lawn Fawn is now in stock and going fast.

Lastly, before I head off, if you are looking for where to enter my Giveaway, you can do so HERE.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Hugs to you all!

Petunia Jar!

Happy Saturday to you all! So I had my friend over yesterday, but unfortunately we did not get into the craft room, apart from a viewing point of view...but we are planning this for next time though, but still it was great to catch up with her and meet her family.

Today I wanted to share a card that I created for Tiffany Doodles...this is one of the new images that are being released...

100_5955

I took the Petunia Jar and reiszed on my computer, printing it out onto some white card stock and took my Copics and coloured the image in, trimming around the image and adhering to more white card stock that had been run through my Cuttlebug, embossing the card stock with Papertrey Ink, Woodgrain impression plate. Stamping a sentiment from the Made With Love stamp set from Hero Arts. Corner rounded the edges of the white card stock and adhered to a trimmed purple card also corner round the edges of the card to match the white card stock. Finally, adding a scattering of rhinestones to complete the card.

Here is a closer view of the card.

Orange Flower and Hero Arts Giveaway!

Hello and happy Friday everyone! This morning I woke to a Pea Soup Fog...and quite cold, I am hoping that when the fog lifts there maybe some nice sun to warm the bones, but in the mean time I am snuggled up in front of the fire.

I had a huge day of cleaning inside my house yesterday and have a few other things to finish off this morning...always such a nice feeling when you have achieved that...I also got a chance to venture into the craft room last night and made a couple of cards..here is one of the ones I created last night.

100_5967

I took the Stencil Flower from Hero Arts and stamped it twice onto white card stock, colouring the image in with my Copics and trimmed the inner part of the flower out as well as the leaves that I created using the other stamped flower, I adhered the leaves to the flower and set aside. Next, trimming some Kraft card stock and stamping the Old Letter stamp that was inked with Frost White ink onto the Kraft card stock, adding a dusting to the edges. I attached some twine to the base and also the flower using foam dimensionals. I then adhered the Kraft card stock to a Poppy card that had been stamped with the Large Plaid stamp that was inked with Poppy ink. Finally, I stamped a sentiment at the base of the card from the Thank You for Being My Friend stamp set.

So during the week I promised that I would be having a giveaway and I have decided to have a Hero Arts goodies giveaway. Just leave a comment on this blog post by 11.00 pm Wednesday 1st of June (Australian Time) and I will announce the winner on Thursday 2nd of June.

Here is what you could win!!!

Good Luck!!!!

Okay I am off to finish off a little more house work and then I have a friend coming over who happens to be crafty as well, so who knows we may get a little inky!

Have a wonderful Friday!

Excitement!!

Hey my sweet friends....just finished work and am sitting here trying to wind down from a long night...so for me to wind down I thought that I would share my excitement with you all.

A couple of weeks ago the wonderful, sweet and lovely Tami Hartley asked me if I would like to do another video for Hero Arts, she knew she was running the blog this week and sharing a week all about one of this months themes which was ATC's, so asked if I would create a video to be shown on her week...of course I thought it was a great idea and plus gave me more confidence in creating videos...but I will let you in on a little secret and Tami will have a giggle, this did not go very smoothly...LOL, but alas we made it in time to have it here for your viewing.

Here is the ATC that I created along with a couple of others that I created to...

To check out how I created the red one, jump on over to the Hero Arts blog and view the Video...

Just before I leave you all, I wanted to send out a HUGE HUGE thank you to Tami for her support, kindness, sweet words and total patience throughout this past week... you are a true gem Tami....also thanks to Kelly for a last minute dash in helping to add the last couple of things to the video, you saved the day :) to Shari for giving some information to help me along the way, to Mon from Hero Arts, you have been extremely patient and lastly to Hero Arts, for being the most amazing and loving company in the industry...

Okay, for me it is now time to grab a cup of tea and I may sit and listen to the video once again.

Hope you all enjoy and thank you for always supporting me and leaving such warming and beautiful comments.

Purple Flower!

Hello and happy Tuesday to you all, I hope that your week has been off to a great start...mine has been quite a long one already and I am looking forward to it being over...I now officially have 6 days left of work and I will be on holidays for 2 weeks, Woohooo! cannot wait...I love the idea of being able to sleep in, get up and get out in the garden and do those long overdue chores inside that keep looking at me...it will be so nice to just kick back and relax and squeeze in lots of crafting time to boot.

Today, I wanted to share another card that I created using my Prisma Color pencils..this card I created a couple of weeks ago and found that I did not own any Grey pencils in my collection so I resorted to shading with a brown pencil..it is okay but now since creating cards using Prisma pencils and having the grey it looks a lot nicer and softer.

100_5923

Trimming some white card stock and stamping one of the flower stamps from the Hero Arts, 3 Flowers stamp set onto the card stock, colouring in with the Prisma Color pencils and once I was happy with the overall effect of the colouring, I took the Envelope Pattern stamp also from Hero Arts, inking it up with Antique Linen distress ink and stamping over the entire image, applying more ink to the edges to soften. Adding a sentiment under the flower from the Hero Arts, All Occasion Messages stamp set, I then adhered the white card stock to some purple card stock that matched the flower, adding white gel pen dots around the purple card stock to frame the image. Finally, trimming a piece of Kraft card stock to form a card and stamped the entire front of the card with the Magical Background stamp that was inked with Frost White ink, adhering the purple card stock to the front of the card to complete.

I am finding that colouring with pencils is just as fun as colouring with Copics...kinda makes me feel like I am kid all over again laying on the floor in front of the fire at my Nannas colouring the pages of my colouring book...a process that always makes me smile.

Well I hope that you all find something that makes you all smile this week...enjoy the rest of the week and to celebrate my soon to be holidays, stay tune sometime this week as I will be having another giveaway.

Hugs for now!

Sweet Dreams Marci!

Happy Sunday to you all, today is such a glorious day here in little old country town, beautiful warm Autumn day, I had better make the most of it, what with the cold snap on it's way.

Have you all had much crafting time this weekend? Last night I ventured into the craft room and created again...mind you it was rather a push to get myself in there...with feeling sick these past few weeks I have not had much of the mind set or energy to create. Thankfully, all of what I have been showing were creations I had made prior to getting sick.

So alas I did create and today I wanted to share my card that I created for Jay Gee's Nook. I decided to use one of the new La La Land stamps that are currently in store..you can check out the entire ranger HERE. I absolutely adore these sweet stamps, the open spaces on the stamped images allows you to learn more Copic colouring skills.

100_5957

I took the Sweet Dreams Marci and stamped here onto white card stock, coloured her in with my Copics and trimmed her out. Next, taking Hero Arts, Sea Layering Paper I trimmed it to size and stamped over the entire piece with the Hero Arts, Life of the Party Dots background stamp that was inked with Soft Pool ink, once it was dry, I took a white gel pen and added more dots inside the other stamped dots for added interest, I then adhered this piece of paper to another piece of Sea Layering paper. Adhering Sweet Dreams Marci to the paper using foam dimensionals and adding a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Find Joy stamp set. I then took a piece of Kraft card stock and trimmed it to form a card, stamping over the front of the card with the Daisy Outline background stamp from Hero Arts with Versamark Ink. Finally, adhering the layering paper to the front of the card to complete.

Here is a close up of the card.

So if you have a spare few minutes, check out the Store, there are some fantastic buys at wonderful prices....

Okay, I am off to jump on over to the Blog to check out what the Girls have been up to, why not join me.

Oh and don't forget there is still time to play in the current Challenge, great prize to be won.

Alright, I am off to enter this card into the La La Land May Challenge...you can find out all about it HERE.

Have a wonderful day!

Lots of Patterned Paper!

Hello my friends....I am so pleased that it is almost the weekend...lots on this weekend, but just pleased that it will be here. What are your plans for the weekend?

The card that I wanted to share with you today was the other card that I created for my Aunt and Uncle to give to their Daughter in Law for her 40th birthday...

100_5939

I took lots of yummy Basic Grey patterned paper and the Lauderdale Floral stamp set from Hero Arts, stamping both of the flowers onto the patterned paper with Versamark Ink and embossing both with white embossing powder, trimming around each, adhering each of the flowers together with foam dimensionals, adding some twine to the back of the flowers and setting aside. Taking more patterned paper and running through my Cuttlebug cutting the paper with a Tim Holtz die, I stamped a happy birthday sentiment from the Life of the Party stamp set using Versamark Ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I then adhered the die cut to another piece of patterned paper that had a stitching line around the edge. I attached the flower using more foam dimensionals and added extra wording with Thickers. Finally, adhering this to a trimmed white card and rhinestones to complete.

Here is a close up of the card.

100_5938

I sure hope that my cousin likes her card...fingers crossed..LOL

Okay, I am off to watch Desperate Housewives and Private Practice...have a wonderful night everyone!

Paper Daisy!

Hi friends! how is you day going? I hope that you have had lots of time to get crafty or get outside and enjoy the Autumn sun...or for that matter if you are overseas, enjoy the Summer sun.

Well for me I have been a little crafty and thought that I would share this card that I created the other day using Jane's Doodles Daisy.

100_5949

I took the Daisy image, which you can purchase HERE...resized it to 2 different sizes and printed out onto Basic Grey patterned paper, I trimmed each of the Daisy's out and cut into every second petal, this allowed me to give the daisy more dimension. I adhered the smaller flower to the larger one using foam dimensionals and then added a Prima Cabachon to the center of the flower. I took Kraft card stock and trimmed to form a card, stamping the Graph Background stamp from Hero Arts over the font of the card inked with Frost White ink, adding a dusting to the outer edges of the card to soften. I adhered the flower to the card using foam dimensionals and finally trimmed a piece of white card stock to form a tag, stamping a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Type stamp set, also adhering this to the card.

Here is a close up of the flower.

Okay time for me to get choofing and get some work done, hope you all have a wonderful day!

Framed Flower!

Hello everyone! Rather a late posting I am sorry, but had a rotten headache when I woke this morning, I am sure from all the coughing I have been doing lately..LOL, so hence I went back to bed before having to start work and feeling much better now.

Tonight I wanted to share another card I created for Purple Onion Designs using the Framed Flower stamp set...Love that you are able to create so many creations with this fun set.

So before I jump into my creation I know that you are all wondering who was the winner of Jane's Doodles Daffodil and that lucky person is:

Congrats Lou Spiden can you contact me with your email address so that I can get Jane to send you the image...to everyone that left me lovely comments thank you so much.

Okay now onto how I created the card.....

100_5942

Taking white card stock and the Late 1800's Script Background stamp, I inked it up with some Soft Sand ink and stamped the entire piece of card stock, trimmed it to size and rounded the top corners of the card stock. I then took pink card stock, trimmed to size and stamped a sentiment from the Handwritten Holiday stamp set with Versamark Ink, embossing it with white embossing powder, adhering this to the stamped background and adding twine to the top of the pink card stock. Using more white card stock and stamping the Framed Flower stamp, colouring just the flower in using my Prismacolor Pencils, adding shading to make the flower stand out, trimmed around the frame and adhered the flower to the stamped background using foam dimensionals. Finally adhering to a trimmed white card with the top corners rounded and a scattering of rhinestones to match.

There are 2 other framed stamp sets in the new line of stamps from Stephanie Ackerman...so make sure you go check them out...

Okay I am off to find a blanket to wrap around my knees, came home from work tonight to find out our top plate of the wood heater has a huge hole in it and we now have to have a new plate made...brrrr! and we are having quite a few frosty mornings and quite cold nights...so pleased they invented electric blankets and gas heaters...although I have the heater there still seems to be a draft somewhere....

Have a wonderful night everyone, I will be back here tomorrow with another creation.

Autumn Feel!

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you all!! Good news to report here, I am on the mend..finally, a couple of more days and I will be back to normal again...it has been a very long and drawn out affair. Thank you to each and everyone one of you once again for all the well wishes and support it has been so heart warming to know how many of you have taken the time to leave comments etc to tell me that you were all thinking of me..so thank you.

So have you all noticed something different about my blog???? I changed my blog banner..and I am so proud because I created this all by myself...I am loving that I have learnt something new about software etc...this morning I have been sitting here on a cold Autumn day by the fire with my Roly boy and tweaking the banner just slightly...let me know what you all think?

Before I went down hill quickly with the flu I did manage to create a card based upon Autumn and these photos that I took last year...I was in awe of the depth of colour that Mother Nature could produce, so hence found the inspiration to create a card based upon the colours I saw in the photos.

100_5947

Taking Hero Arts water color paper and the Luscious Ledger stamp, inking it with Versamark Ink and stamping over the trimmed piece of paper, I heat embossed some white embossing powder over the top and once cool, I took distress inks, Brushed Corduroy, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge and applied heavily over the top of the embossing, giving the emboss resist technique...I flicked water over the top to add some interest and quickly heat zapped it once more to dry. Staying with the distress inks, I took a Hero Arts white flower and applied Wild Honey and a dab of Rusty Hinge, then filling one of my mini misters with water and Perfect Pearl, Pearl, adding a few scoops of this into the mini mister, spraying over the flower to give it a pearlised look, heat setting it and adding some twine to the back of the flower. Next, trimming some white card stock and stamping a sentiment from the Lauderdale Floral stamp set, adhering the white card stock to the front of the ledger stamped paper, adding lace at the top of the white card stock and then the flower using foam dimensionals. Finally adding gems and pearls and adhering this to a trimmed white card to complete.

I had a lot of fun creating this card with lots of techniques and fabulous inky fingers by the end....

Here is a close up of the flower, you can see the pearlised look.

100_5948

Just Say Cheese!

Happy Sunday to you all, I hope you are all having a wonderful day so far and are enjoying these nice Autumn days...

Today brings us to another posting for Jay Gee's Nook, have you all had a little time to enter in the fab new Challenge, I sure would love to see what you all create from the inspiring photo.

So my card for today I decided to use lots of yummy Lawn Fawn stamps.

100_5946

Using lots of white card stock, trimming a card to size and using the polaroid from the Say Cheese stamp set I stamped on to some white card stock adding a sentiment from the Say Cheese Too stamp set to the polaroid, then trimmed the inner part of the polaroid out, added a dusting of Brushed Corduroy distress ink to the polaroid and adhered to a trimmed white card stock that had a dusting of Black Soot distress ink to the edges using foam dimensionals. Next, using some October Afternoon patterned paper and the bathing suit stamp from Swimsuit Season stamp set, I stamped onto the patterned paper, trimming around each bathing suit and adhering to the inner part of the polaroid using foam dimensionals. Working on the front of the card, I took the small camera from the Say Cheese Too stamp set and some Baja Breeze ink from Stampin Up and also some Cough Syrup ink from Jenni Bowlin (have to say loving the new Jenni Bowlin ink too) I stamped along the bottom of the card and a couple up in the top right hand corner of the card. I added some red twine to the card and finally adhered the polaroid to the front using foam dimensionals.

Alrighty, so it is time to now check out what Judith and Ange have been up to, as I know they will have some fantastic eye candy...also don't forget to check out the store, new items in.

Before I leave today, I wanted to remind you that there is still time to enter the giveaway you have until tomorrow 6.00pm to enter.

Also I just wanted to thank everyone that has sent their well wishes to me whether it be via comments or Twitter, it has meant a lot and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart...still battling through and it is still lingering but I am still smiling!

Home Sweet Home!

Hello everyone! So as everyone knows, blogger was down for awhile and when it came back I unfortunately lost some comments on my blog posts...so I have now made the decision to allow more time for the Giveaway, and am keeping it open until Monday 16th May, 6.00pm (Australian Time) so please check in and see if your comment is still on the post and if not, please leave a comment in order to have a chance of winning....thank you!

Okay, so after a very long day at work and still feeling fairly ordinary with this flu, I am sharing a quick card that I created a few days ago for Purple Onion Designs with the new line of stamps from Stephanie Ackerman...have you all seen these new stamps? If not head on over HERE and check them all out...Fabulous stamps that you will want in your collection.

100_5922

Taking lots of patterned paper from My Minds Eye and October Afternoon, I stamped several stamps from the Home Sweet Home stamp set, adding a light dusting of Brushed Corduroy distress ink around the images once trimmed. I took a piece of Kraft card stock and trimmed to form a card, adding a sewing line around the edge of the card and also a dusting of more Brushed Corduroy. Next, I added a piece of pattern paper to the base of the card to form a grass hill and stamped the flowers from the same stamp set. Finally, adhering the stamped images to the card using foam dimensionals and adding a sentiment to the card front to complete.

I just adore this stamp set, so many possibilities with this stamp set....to see more of the what you can create with the new stamp line, check out the Blog and see what the DT members have been creating over the last couple of weeks, it will certainly start making the wallet rattle.

Okay, I am off now to hang a load of washing out and have some dinner.

Have a wonderful night.

Poppies!

Hey Everyone! How is everyone's week going? I am currently off work for the next 2 days and it is so nice, but still down and out with this rotten flu thing...now just have a irritating cough and runny nose...sure hope it goes away soon, I can honestly say that I am truly fed up with it.

Okay, I have vented enough now..onto today's post...I wanted to share another card that I created using my Prismacolor Pencils and a stamp that has been sitting in my collection for sometime..so it was definitely time to break it out and get it inky.

100_5943

So I stamped the poppy stamp from Hero Arts onto trimmed white card stock and coloured in with my Prismacolor pencils...I adhered the image to a piece of trimmed purple card stock and then straight onto a trimmed cream card.

Fairly straight forward card and sometimes nice to create a card that could be used for any occasion with no stamping of a sentiment on the front, leaves the options open.

There is still time to enter my Giveaway...so be sure to leave a comment...

Okay, I am off to do some more resting...have a wonderful night.

Vintage Finds!

Hello my dear friends...so it is Wednesday here, overcast with a big chance of rain (LOL I sound like a weather report) anyways, what that kinda weather means for me is to snuggle up inside and hopefully craft, after just a few little tid bits of work on the inside.

Today I thought that I would share a card that I created with some of my new goodies from Papertrey Ink....Oooooh! how I swoon over these gorgeous, yummy products.

100_5944

I took some Aqua Mist card stock, trimmed size and ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug, embossing the front with the Sunshine Impression Plate..setting aside to work on the rest of the card. More card stock, this time white, also running through the Cuttlebug, but cutting a die cut using the Button Card Collection die..stamping onto the die cut with the coordinating stamps, Button Boutique, adding Aqua Mist buttons to this die cut and adhering to the front of the card using foam dimensionals. Finishing the card off with some Bakers Twine and adding a sentiment from the Big Bold Wishes stamp set to a trimmed tag that was also adhered to the front of the card using foam dimensionals.

I loved creating with these goodies and cannot wait to get into the craft room and pull that stamp set out once again.

Now don't forget to check out my Giveaway, you have until Saturday, Australian Time to enter.

Okay, heading off now to get those little tid bits done and then jump on into the craft room.

Have wonderful day my sweet friends!

Tulips!

Hello everyone! how was everyone's day today? We started out this morning with a visit from dear old Jack Frost...the sports ground that is adjacent to our home was a sheet of white on the grass...Winter is just around the corner, not that I am complaining, as I get to snuggle up to the fire.

So today I promised that I would be having a giveaway, but before I get to that little piece of good news, I will share a card that I created for Jane's Doodles.

100_5926

I took the Tulip image which you are able to purchase HERE...love this image, as I love tulips...sorry digressing away from how I created this card..anyways, taking the image, resizing on my computer, one larger then the other and printing onto white card stock....colouring in with my Copics and trimming around each. Taking an Iris note card and Antique Flower background stamp from Hero Arts, inking the stamp with Soft Lilac ink and stamping over the entire front of the card. Working with the Tulips once again, I adhered them to a trimmed piece of white card stock using foam dimensionals, using a piece of purple card stock to use as matting to the white card stock. Adhering this to the front of the card and finally, adding a sentiment and a scattering of pearls to complete.

Okay, okay I can here you all saying, now just get on with the giveaway, alright I won't keep you in suspense any longer...I am having another Jane's Doodles giveaway to one lucky winner...Jane is so kind to allow me to do this and I want to give a big shout of thanks to her!

Horsing Around!

Happy Monday to you all, once again another week begins, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and for those who celebrated Mothers Day, I do hope you had a wonderful relaxing time... now before I jump into my post for the day, I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes to me...I am still sick, but am trying my best to move past this icky thing.

At least I can look forward to my holidays that are now just approximately 3 weeks away and I can honestly tell you I cannot wait...these holidays I am staying at home and getting lots done, with probably a few small little trips around my home town.

So the other day, my Aunt and Uncle who are currently staying at my Mum's asked me to create 2 cards, both being 40th birthday cards, one for their Son and the other for their Daughter in Law....and with me being sick all weekend with not much energy to do house work, I had lots of time to sit and create...this is the first of the 40th birthday cards that I will share this week.

100_5940

Taking a piece of white card stock, trimming to size and stamping the Ledger background stamp from Hero Arts inked with Smokey Shadow ink, then taking the Binding Edge punch from Ek Success I punched along the top of the card stock, adding Brushed Corduroy distress ink to the edges of the card stock to give a more adged effect. I then took a horse image from my Silhouette library, resized it and sent it to cut out on my Silhouette Machine on white card stock, colouring the die cut using Brushed Corduroy distress ink. I added twine to the Ledger card stock along with stamping and thickers to create the sentiment, adhering the horse to the ledger and the whole Ledger card stock to a piece of trimmed Earth Designer Paper that formed the card...finally, adding scatters of black pearls to complete the card.

It was so nice to use the Silhouette Machine with no hassels...I am loving it!

Okay so it is time for me to get dinner organised.

Have a wonderful night!

Alright, I am off to rest still feeling rather under the weather...I hope that it passes quickly this time :(

Have a wonderful day and as always thanks for stopping by and leaving your lovely comments, reading these comments is what is helping me to get through.

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello and happy Saturday to you all! Today is the day before Mothers Day here and it is also a new challenge time for Tiffany Doodles...this month is all about Flowers...this challenge was perfect, it enabled me to create a card for my Mother in Law...so tomorrow we will go to visit her with little present and this card in hand.

I took the Zinnia flower image, resized on my computer and printed onto white card stock, colouring the image in with my Copics and trimming out. Using more white card stock and the Friend Definition stamp from Hero Arts, I inked it with some Smokey Shadow ink from PTI and stamped over the card stock, adding stitching to the edge and added a slight touch of blending with Black Soot distress ink. Again using more white card stock and a Tim Holtz die, I cut out a die and added Black Soot to the edge of this die. Adhering the flower using foam dimensionals and stamping a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Celebrate Everyday stamp set, adhering the die cut to the definition card stock and then onto some Raspberry Fizz cardstock. Finally, adding pink rhinestones to match and adhered the entire lot to a trimmed white card.

Whilst we are on the subject of Mothers Day, Tiffany is having a great sale, check out all the deets below and be sure to check out the blog for lots more inspiration from my fellow DT members and details of the challenge.

At the last minute I have decided to enter this card into the Casual Fridays Challenge.

Hoping my MIL likes the card and her little goodies that we have brought her...

Well I am off to get some dinner organised and then do some relaxing as would you believe it my rotten cold is back again...it really is the pits when you are sick...

Hoping you all have a relaxing night.

Hugs
