Handmade Flower and Winners!

Happy Monday to you all, hope you weekend was a nice one, lots planned here at the cottage today, and with already half the day gone, I will be pushing to squeeze it all in, but well must give it a good attempt.

Before I get started on the rest of the chores I wanted to share a card that I created...the flower that you see, I handmade using some organza, I found a tutorial on You Tube and realised how pretty they looked, decided to give it a go and this is what turned out...I still have a long ways to go to match what I watched on You Tube, but for a first time effort it was pretty good.

The other thing I wanted to add here, see the bling trim at the base of the card, that is from a wonderful shop I found on Etsy, which is called Karlas001...be sure to check it out, she has the most amazing things in her store and I cannot wait to head back and place another order with her...Thank you Karla for selling the most gorgeous goodies!!

The card came together pretty quickly, by using lots of white on white, embossing the Flourish background stamp, adding the bling, the flower and a sentiment from the Damask Designs stamp set.

Looking forward to purchasing more organza to create these beauties...be sure to check out You Tube there are some amazing tutorials over there..

Here is a closer look of the flower..

Your flower is gorgeous. No one would ever think that it was you first go at something like that. Nice to still have some time off to be creative before heading back after a vacation.
