I did not want to let the Jay Gee's Nook team down, so managed to scrap together a card, not my best at all, but at least something to share with you all today, on this cold day at the Cottage..

I used the technique of Paint Resist...apply the pearl paint dabber over the top of the Lotus Background stamp, stamping it onto white card stock and heat setting. Once dry I applied Dried Marigold, Victorian Velvet and Brushed Corduroy, trimming down and adhering to a Latte trimmed Layering paper that was stamped with the same ink and Raindrop Background stamp. Adding a sentiment from the Sophies Sentiments and lastly scattering of pearls to complete.
I love the way paint and distress inks work together, it gives it such a beautiful effect.
Be sure to check out the BLOG to see what the rest of the DT gals have created, I always look forward to Sunday's to check out the beautiful creations from my fellow teamies.
Don't forget that there is still time to enter the challenge, I know you are going to love the next challenge that we have cooked up for you.
Hope you all have a fabulous rest of the day, I will be back tomorrow with a share of some goodies that I purchased yesterday.
Hugs
