Balloon Ride!

Happy Sunday to you all...big day yesterday at work so alas for World Card Making day there was NO! card making done at the Cottage...BOO!! I do hope that you all found a little time to create something for the day and had fun also.

I do have a share for you today and made this card for Jay Gee's Nook a couple of days ago...using up some scrap pattern papers which seems to becoming a huge pile in my room...

I decided to use 2 sets from Practicing Creativity and this is what I created using those scrap pieces of pattern paper...



Quite a simple card, stamping the images onto the pattern papers, adhering together, adding Glossy Accents on one section on the balloon then adhering this to another piece of pattern paper that was sewn around the edge and adding a light dusting of Antique Linen. Finally, adding a sentiment and pearls then adhering to a trimmed piece of white card stock slightly larger then the sewn paper and then onto a trimmed Kraft card.

Very basic, but as I said, great way to use up some of those scrap pieces by doing a bit of paper piecing.

Have a wonderful Sunday, it is finally daylight saving here so I lost an hours sleep last night and am feeling it this morning, today will be over like a flash no doubt...I have lots to do before heading to work so better get choofing...
