Beach Chair!

Hi friends! Busy day at work, in fact extremely busy and ever so pleased that I am home now enjoying a relaxing night...today was our town's Annual Show and at the end of the show, they had a fantastic fireworks display, even better for myself I was able to stand on our front lawn and see all the action, I miss that we are not allowed to have fireworks anymore and miss those nights when several families would get together around a big bonfire and the lighting of the fireworks, so when this happens each year it always brings a big smile to my face..bringing back all those wonderful memories.

So as I sit here in front of the TV writing my post to you all and considering hitting the craft room or not...here is a card whilst I consider...

Another new stamp from Purple Onion Designs and this time the sweet Beach Chair image...



Stamping this onto white card stock, colouring in with my Copics, adding a blue sky, by blending blue ink over the top of the image, stamping a corresponding sentiment from the same stamp set and adhering the stamped image to a trimmed Kraft card stock. Taking white card stock and running the front of the card through the Cuttlebug, embossing it with a Sizzix embossing folder, adhering the stamped image using foam dimensionals and finally adding some twine to complete the card.

I figured that this card is quite fitting for us out here in Australia, what with it now being Spring and won't be long and it will be Summer, worst luck as I am a true Winter girl...LOL
