Twinklings H2O's

Hello everyone on this sunny Sunday morning, sitting here typing out my blog post to you all whilst I watch out the french doors, total bliss....

Today is another card for Jay Gee's Nook and this time I decided to crack open the H2O's and have a little play around.

Taking white card stock and inking the Marigold stamp with Versamark Ink, stamping on the card stock twice and heat embossing with black embossing powder, next colouring the image in using the Twinkling H2O's, Playful Peony, Spiced Pumpkin and Golden Opal, layering until I was happy and as I am impatient, I heated once again with the heat tool. Trimming around one of the images and with the other just the centre, with the larger flower I cut into the flower so as to be able to curl the flower for dimension, adhering the two together with a pearl brad. Taking more white card stock, applying Antique Linen, flicking water over the card stock and stamping the Designer Woodgrain stamp over the top that was also inked with Antique Linen, distressing the edges and applying a light dusting of Brushed Corduroy. Completing the card by trimming a brown card, adhering the woodgrain card stock to the card front, along with the flower that was placed on with foam dimensionals and finally adding a sentiment along with 3 pearls to complete.

I love working with the Twinkling H2O's gives such a beautiful shimmery effect to an image, if you have been thinking of purchasing these they are well worth the money.

So last week Jay Gee's Nook introduced a new team member, Angeline Yong Jeet Leen, her blog and creations are truly awe inspiring, please welcome Angeline by visiting her wonderful blog HERE...I cannot wait to see what Angeline, Judith and Ange have created for us all today, check out all the DT work HERE.

Also this is the final week of the Challenge, to enter you can go HERE.

Judith will also be having some awesome goodies arriving soon, so make sure to pop into the shop to check them out, hopefully this week.

Okay I am off to clean up the craft room and maybe make some cards, seeing as I think or at least hope the mojo has returned.

Hugs and Happy Sunday!
