Quick Card!

Happy Saturday to you all! how is your weekend progressing? Mine so far is very successful, I managed to get my entire house all cleaned, still some washing of clothes to do, but otherwise very happy, what makes me even more happier is that I even got a chance to do some crafting tonight.

These cards I will be sharing with you all soon, but for tonight I wanted to share a quick card I created using some yummy Purple Onion Designs stamps...an older set but one I thought could be used to create a sympathy card, and lets face it we all know how hard it is to create these cards let alone give them...

Sympathy

I used a technique that Jennifer McGuire taught in her Holiday Thinking Inking class last year, inking onto an acrylic block with distress inks, spritzing with water and using the acrylic block as a stamp onto card stock, heat setting with heat gun and stamping the Drooping Flowers stamp within the water colour block, trimming around, leaving a border of white card stock to frame. Trimming more white card stock to form the card, adding strips of score tape to the base of the card, applying glitter and in the centre of the score tape stamping a sentiment. Finally, adhering the stamped image to the card to complete.

I thought I would share another funny picture I saw over at Pinterest....Someone had written the caption under this picture which I thought was quite appropriate...I think it was along the lines of "Noooooo I don't want to have a bath"

Hope you enjoy the card and a little giggle at the picture, I will be back here tomorrow with another share...

Hugs
