Flying a kite!

What a beautiful Sunday morning to wake up and read my blog comments from yesterday's blog post by all my wonderful readers, WOW! was not expecting the response I got and thank you everyone who have given me suggestions on what to place inside my Hurricane Candle Holder...I do at Christmas time put ornaments in it as a feature, so it was nice to hear that a lot of us think alike. There are truly some wonderful suggestions and links so thank you! I have lots more house type pictures to take and suggestions for these would be most welcoming...

Onto another subject, that being a crafty one, I received a wonderful package of goods the other day from Jay Gee's Nook and inside was one of the new Pure Innocence stamps, feeling rather tired but wanting to play in the craft room, I took my goodies and pulled that stamp out and proceeded to create a card and this is what I came up with...

Recently, I have purchased a lot of My Minds Eye pattern paper...don't you just love that stuff right now, every line that they seem to produce I want...so with that being said I began to form the base of my card, by trimming two lots of the paper to form sky and a grass mound. Feeling like the card needed to have a focal point, I trimmed a circle and stamped the Graph Background onto the card stock, tucking this under the grass mound and trimming the excess off. I sewed around the paper to give it an added feature and adhered the sweet little girl to the circle that I had previously coloured with my Copics and trimmed. Completing the card by adding the kite and a stamped sentiment and adhering all, to a trimmed white card.

Well today seems like it is going to be another rainy day, so inside relaxing, might even see if the craft room will accept me back in there considering yesterday, I think it was getting rather annoyed with me thrashing about, throwing things around and literally making a heck of a mess, I did apologise with the action of cleaning up before I left, but I could still here groans of displeasure....

Okay, I am now off as I can smell my silverside cooking and I think that means it is almost time to eat lunch...

Don't forget to head on over the see what Judith and Ange have install for us today and also why not try and create a card for the latest inspiration photo challenge that I created....

Hugs to you all!

I totally know what you mean about MME papers lately. Feels like they are practically breeding on my shelves, as I'm tempted by every single new release!!!
