Today I am sharing a card that has a bit of a dual purpose...Firstly, I was asked a couple of weeks ago from a dear friend Britt if I would join in on a blog hop that she had organised along with Marie Legojenta, the blog hop was all about Young Crafters Unite..the basis of this blog hop was to be young and crafty and although I don't consider myself to be really young at the age of the old 36yrs, but to feel young a heart when creating. There is nothing like picking up your favourite stamp, paper, pens, ink etc to make you all happy inside...and I feel this is what keeps me young or at least on the inside..LOL
You should have arrived from the Angie's blog, and if you are wanting more information on this blog hop you can visit the main blog page HERE.
Here is the card that I created..
I wanted to use my favourite white card stock, that seems to always be my go to card stock...I also love butterflies and could not resist to use my absolute all time favourite butterfly stamp from Hero Arts, adding lots of bright colours to the embossed butterfly...and as a finisher to the card, I really love adding score lines to my creations lately, I think it really finishes a card, especially under a sentiment.
Here is a close up of the card...
I thought that it would be fun to share some of my favourtie cards that I have created in the past too...sharing them all in a collage for you to view..
So I did mention that this would be a dual purpose card and as I was going along colouring my Butterfly with Memento Markers I realised that the colours I chose were the colours for this weeks Summer Card Class, so have entered this into this fab class.
Now it is time to keep on hoping, so lets hop together and check out Lauren's blog and see what beautiful creation she has made.
Make sure to comment along the way for a chance to win some awesome goodies.. randomly selected commenters will have the opportunity to win a $20 from Simon Says Stamp, your choice of stamp set from Paper Smooches or your choice of stamp set from Lawn Fawn .
Enjoy hoping around and seeing awesome creations, I am now off to grab a cuppa and do just that.
