Tim Holtz Goodies!

Hello everyone! Wednesday here and I could not be more delighted, this means only one more day worth of work for me after today and then the weekend off and lots of playing in the craft room....there is going to be some exciting news here on the blog next week and I cannot wait to share with you all...

For today's card i wanted to try out some Tim Holtz products that have been sitting in my craft room for some time now and well today was the day to create something with them, this is what I came up to.

First of, I took a Chipboard butterfly and some Worn Lipstick Crackle Paint, painted the entire butterfly and waited for the fun to begin, which was for the crackle to happen...I felt that once it was dry it needed a little toning down, so I applied Brushed Corduroy to get into the cracks and also the Pearl Dabber to give it a nice shine. I cut a circle out of Basic Grey pattern paper and adhered the butterfly to this with some Glossy Accents. Working on the rest of the card I took a piece of white card stock and applied over the entire piece using some Tissue Tape, then added a layer of Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain distress ink over the top, making sure to dry off with the heat gun (Tip: I have found that it takes a lot of drying time) I then sewed around the edge and adhered to a pink piece of trimmed card stock. I then took Vintage Photo and added a light dusting around the edge of the circle, next, adhering this to the tissue tape background with foam dimensionals. Finally, adding a sentiment from the Find Joy stamp set to a banner, adhering this to the card and adding rhinestones either side of the sentiment.

Here is a closer look at the card...

I have enjoyed playing with these products and have just ordered a stack of Tim Holtz products from Simon Say's, so cannot wait for them all to arrive and for me to share them with you all....hoping to share the products that I have purchased over the last few months with you in a video soon...

Okay got to go and get more inky, lots to do in the craft room....

Have a wonderful day..

Hugs
