Thursday Happiness!!

Hello everyone! today was spent literally doing nothing, catching up on a little bit of sleep and tonight doing a little crafting with some products that have been in my room which feels like forever...I love to pull out older products and play, makes me feel like I have just visited the shop and brought them...

So tonight I get to share some exciting news with you all and that is Jenyfur from Penny Black contacted me a few days ago and asked if I would do a guest design spot on the Penny Black blog and well of course who would not love to have this opportunity so my answer was YES!!! I cannot wait to receive my stamps to create some projects for you all to view...I just wish to thank Jenyfur for asking me to guest design for Penny Black this is a true honour...so my dear readers you will all be the first to know when you can view my creations.

I feel now it is time to share tonight's creation with you all and that is another Purple Onion Designs project...I feel that this is a fitting card as tomorrow is the last day to enter the POD stamps giveaway...you can view how to win these stamps HERE or click the picture in my side bar of my blog.

I wanted to go with a card that could be used for many uses from Valentines day to an engagement, wedding or even to tell your loved one that you love them.



Taking white card stock trimming to size and inking up the Late 1800's Script background stamp with Sahara Sand ink and stamped over the entire trimmed card stock, corner round the top two corners. Staying with more white card stock that was also trimmed to size and the love stamp from the Sweetheart Ticket stamp set, inking with some pink ink and stamping over the entire sheet of white card stock, adhering to a trimmed piece of pink card stock and then adhered to the script background stamping. I wrapped twine around the card stock, tying off in a bow under a heart chipboard piece that was also inked with darker pink ink. Finally, adhering to a trimmed Kraft card and adding a rhinestone to the centre of the heart and corner rounding the top corners of the card to complete.

Now before I leave you tonight, I think it is time for a bit of enabling and also share some Bits and Pieces with you all:

I LOVE that the Mini Mister has been made into a larger bottle, I need to get more...

I have had THESE products in my craft room forever and have started to use them and am having a lot of fun...

I think THIS may become a favourite background stamp...
