Purple!

Hello everyone! Sunday morning and time for a creation for Jay Gee's Nook, today is also the start of a new challenge and another inspiration photo created by none other then me! We have decided to change things up this time and have a colour challenge, this challenge will be all Purple and the use of any neutrals...here is the inspiration photo, all photos to create this inspiration collage were from Pinterest...

Here is the card that I created...

100_6186

I took 2 lots of Hero Arts, Layering Paper, Floral, using the stripe for a card base and the other for the rosette that I had run through my Cuttlebug to create. Adhering the rosette to a strip of white card stock that had a thank you sentiment stamped at the base and then the white card stock embossed with the Woodgrain Impression Plate. Adhering the white card stock with the rosette onto the card front and then taking some white water colour paper and the Antique Engravings stamp set, I inked one of the butterflies from this stamp set with Dusty Concord, distress ink and spritzed with water to give it a wicking effect, heat setting, applying a light dusting of Antique Linen and Vintage Photo to soften and trimming out, adhering to the rosette.  Finally, applying more Vintage Photo, distress ink to the rosette edges to complete the card.

I hope you will all take the time to participate in this fab challenge, and that it stretches your creativity just that little bit more...

Alright, now to follow me over to the blog to find out who was the winner of the last challenge, also what goodies are up for grabs this time and to see Judith and Ange's fab creations.

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs
