Little Robot!

Hello everyone! Today sharing a Jay Gee's Nook card, but if you are looking for the Young Crafters Unite blog hop just read the post below...

I took out some stamps that I have had in my collection for awhile and finally they got to see ink..I am quite sure they were squealing with excitement...

I took the trio Robot set from Hero Arts and stamped one of them onto white card stock, coloured him in with Memento Markers and punched a circle which had him contained, setting him aside to work on the rest of the card....Next, taking the stamp set Carved Love from Practicing Creativity I stamped the background stamp that was contained within the set, inked with Sahara Sand from Stampin Up onto more white card stock...punching another circle slightly larger then the one around the robot.  I stamped a sentiment to the other side of the circle from the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Hello Friend, corner rounded both corners and mounted this card stock to a trimmed Fine Linen card.  I adhered the robot inside the circle cut out of the background card stock, added score lines to the base of the card and finally added a white stitching line and rounded the corner of the card.

I am off now to check out what Judith and Ange have created...don't forget to check out the Challenge, you could win some fab Purple Onion Designs stamps...

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Hugs

Great card Joy. I really like that 'grunge' background, perfect for masculine cards and your colouring is fantastic :)

Making cards for boys or men seem to be something that I can't always seem to wrap my head around, so seeing this cute card today was pure delight. Just love the whimiscal feel to this and the colouring is amazing as always. Hugs.
