Using Jenni Bowlin Inks!

Hi Everyone! Well it is Monday and my day has just flown by today...and I am feeling quite tired, I suppose that happens when you stay up until 2am crafting the night away..LOL...thinking tonight shall be an early one.

The title of this blog post is using the Jenni Bowlin inks...I have to say that I have had these beauties for a few weeks and have been using them and I love them, they are awesome inks...this one happens to be my favourite.

Using these Jenni Bowlin inks I decided to create a card using some Purple Onion Designs stamps...I stamped the Vintage Damask that was inked with the above ink onto white card stock, sewing around the edge of the card stock. I then took the Birdcage stamp and stamped onto more white card stock that was inked with Brown Sugar ink, colouring some of the birdcage in with Memento Markers, I trimmed around the birdcage and adhered to the damask card stock using foam dimensionals. Staying with the same ink, I stamped a sentiment above the birdcage and adhered the whole card stock to a trimmed white card.

I am now itching to purchase the whole range of Jenni Bowlin ink now...LOL, I am sure that my wallet is trying to padlock itself as I say that..LOL.

Okay, I am off to get my kitchen sorted out and back into a working condition...

Make sure you jump back here to the blog tomorrow, I have an exciting event that will be happening.

Hugs to you all!

Pretty card, Joy! I was just considering ordering an ink pad or two of Jenny Bowlin's (I'm in need of a wider array of colors). If you like them they must be good. Thanks for sharing your opinion with us:)

I am in LOVE with my Jenni Bowlin inks too! I have managed to collect all the colors except two (chili powder and fountain pen) I would have never predicted I would use them as much as I do, but they are fabulous colors! I just wish there was a purple color, that is the only thing missing. :( Thanks for sharing this beautiful creation using malted milk. That is one that I have but have not experimented with it's possibilities too much. I will have to try this beautiful background technique with it. Thanks for the inspiration Joy! You should get some more colors, your wallet won't be happy but you will. I think chicken feed and stick candy are two of my favs.

Fabulous card, Joy, I love that POD image! I also love Jenni Bowlin inks too. The first time I used them I loved the colors and the wonderful design of the ink pad. I convinced the manager at Stamp Fever to order them for me and now she can't keep them on the shelves. I'm intrigued about your exciting event, so I'll be back!

This is a beautiful card! Thanks for your opinion of Jenni Bowlin inks. I just won a goodie bag of her stuff, and the Seed Packet (green) ink was in it. I haven't used it yet, but am itching to! I've been drooling over Malted Milk just from the packaging - now that I see it in use, oooh, yeah, I need it!!! :)

Yup, I absolutely love her inks - they stamp so beautifully, don't they? Bought all of them on etsy for a good deal (the seller gave me one for free) with reasonable shipping to Canada too! :) Here is my post with samples of all of them ...
