Day 2 CASE Challenge!

Hi everyone! Returning here today with day 2 of the CASE challenge with my dear friend Barb...I hope that you have all enjoyed day 1 of our challenge...I just want to thank you all for leaving such beautiful comments.

So getting right into today's card, I decided to CASE this card of Barb's...I just was so blown away by the beauty of this card, her colouring was so awesome and the added little touches of gems, well what more could I say...being a person who loves to add gems to almost every card that I create, I just knew this was going to be the card for me.

Sunflower

Here is my take on this beauty.

Taking the Three Sunflowers stamp and some white card stock, stamping onto the card stock and colouring in with my Copics, trimming around only the flower heads and stamping once again onto a trimmed Earth Designer Paper that formed the card base, adhering the sunflower heads to the ones on the card front using foam dimensionals, adding touches of Copics to the stems of the flower. Trimming white card stock and stamping a sentiment from the Sending Smiles Messages stamp set onto the card stock, adhering the card stock to the card, adding a strip of lace at the top of the card stock and to complete the card, adding twine and rhinestones.

Sunflowers always seem to make me smile and I sure hope that this card does as well....

Okay, so we all know what we need to do now and that is to head over to Barb's blog and check out what she has created for today....don't forget to check back at our blogs on Saturday for me and Friday for Barb, for our final day of the CASE challenge..LOL hard keeping up with these time zones.

Well I hope that you all enjoy your day, I am off to do some chores and head on into the craft room...gotta love holidays :)

Hugs to you all!

Hello Joy
How interesting that you chose muted colours as your Palette, as opposed to Barbs energetic almost playful palette,
Each card evokes a different emotional response.
Barbs card makes you feel happy, while yours evokes a serene rustic quality. It is just wonderful how the two of you are interpreting each others work, you must be having so much fun.
Smiles:)
