Barb, is just the sweetest of sweetest friend, I remember first joining the Hero Arts Flickr group and she was one of the first people to contact me...to this day I still giggle at the email she wrote to me saying that she knew what I meant by wanting to leave the house work and go and create something instead...her comment was that she felt her husband thought she was mad considering the clothes in the laundry were knee high and she would prefer to make a card instead...LOL...I know that most of us have these thoughts.
Barb not only leaves beautiful comments on peoples creations she also creates amazing cards, be sure to check out her BLOG and PHOTOSTREAM.
This is the first of the CASE cards from Barb's beautiful creations:

I just love how she cut the flowers out and added them to her card, and just look at all that yummy blue stamping.
Here is the card that I created:

Taking the Large Blossom stamp, inking it with Versamark ink and stamping onto white card stock twice and embossed with white embossing powder, taking my acrylic blog and Victorian Velvet distress ink, I placed some ink onto the block, adding some water onto the block also, creating a palette...I then proceeded to colour the flowers in using my paint brush, giving the flowers a water colour effect, adding more colour where needed to add highlights. I trimmed both flowers out and set aside to work on the rest of the card....I took a piece of card stock that matched the flowers and trimmed to form a card, I added stamping over the front of the card by inking up the Classic Fabric Design with some Frost White ink. Letting the front of the card to dry, I took more white card stock, trimmed to the size I was after and inking the Envelope Pattern with Soft Sand ink, stamping over the white card stock, adding Brushed Corduroy to the edges of the card stock. To finish off the white card stock I stamped a sentiment from the Made With Love stamp set, adhered the flowers using foam dimensionals and corner rounded the top corners. I adhered this to the front of the card using more foam dimensionals to complete.
Here is a close up of the flowers.

I found Barb's beautiful card so inspiring....the total design and striking colour really caught my eye and I knew straight away that this was a card that I wanted to CASE.
Alrighty, I am just itching to jump over to Barb's Blog to see which card she chose of mine to CASE, please jump with me and leave her some love!
To see the next CASE card check back out our blogs on Thursday for me and Wednesday for Barb.
I hope you enjoy the fun this week!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs

Hello Joy
I read Barbs blog so popped over to see what you had cased.
Wonderful interpretation, going away from the palette of the reliable confident Blue of Barbs to the almost Terracotta earthy-ness about your card. Your flowers are amazing and are even romantic and soft looking, the two of you have made beautiful cards of each others work.
Smiles:)
