Masculine Card!

Happy Tuesday to you all, hope you enjoyed your Monday and that if you were at work it went quickly...lets hope that today goes just as quick..but if you were at home I hope that you got to do a little bit of crafting.

Today I have lots to share with you, so lets start sharing...

First off, I created another card using a image from the Hero Arts Portfolio over at Silhouette, now that my machine and I are on talking terms once again, I cut quite a few images out the other day, so I whipped up a card last night to share with you today.

I took the Garden Urn 1 image, resized on my computer and sent it to be cut on my Silhouette, taking distress ink Pumice Stone and Peeled Paint, I applied the ink over the top of the urn and flicked water over the top to give a more aged effect. Trimming white card stock to size and inking the La Lettre stamp with Smokey Shadow ink, stamping directly onto the card stock and adding blending with Pumice Stone to the outer edges of the card stock. Adhering this card stock to a slightly larger trimmed black card stock, adhering this to a Kraft note card that had been stamped with Happy Definition that was inked with Smokey Shadow ink. Lastly, trimming more white card stock to form a tag and stamping a sentiment from the Essential Messages stamp set, adding a pearl either side of the sentiment.

Here is another view of the card.

So there you have it, another Silhouette image card created...there is hope for me and my machine yet.

So onto some more shares, I have 2 videos for you to view, of all the goodies I have purchased over the last several months...I haven't done a video haul for quite awhile and have had a couple of requests, so here they are.

I hope you enjoyed all the shares in this post today..I look forward to returning tomorrow with another creation.

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs

So much fun seeing what you order. I have ordered many of the same items from Papertrey Ink! I can imagine the time it took to make the videos...so thanks!

Hi Joy,

I've been following you now for about 5-6 months and I love your work. Thanks for the videos on your scrapbooking haul! Quite the haul! I did have a question though. I don't know if you are okay with questions, if you prefer not to respond that's okay, but I was wondering what the difference was between the Papertrey Ink pads and the distress pads. As far as I can tell on your card, the colors seem to be very similar--at least the pumice stone and the Smoke Shadow ink. I jumped in and purchased some Hero Arts shadow inks because of your fabulous products on your site, but now I'm wondering what I'm missing out on with Papertrey Inks. Love your stuff and thanks for sharing.
