Make it Monday - Blending!

Hi friends! so how did we all enjoy the blog hop?? Wasn't it fun and there is still one more day of blog hopping and the official opening of Lily Pad Cards..so make sure you check in there again to see what is all happening.

If you have come here on the blog hop, scroll down under this posting to view my creation...

Today, I am sharing a card that I created for this weeks Make it Monday feature over at Papertrey Ink..the lovely Betsy Veldman, shared the technique, Ink Blending..

I love to blend colours together on my cards and this time instead of using the Tim Holtz distress ink, that is always a go to item that I use regularly, I decided to use the possibly only 3 PTI ink pads that I have in my collection and see if that worked...I was pretty happy with the end result.

Taking the stamp set Through the Trees, and using one of the stamps from this collection, I inked it up using some Versamark Ink, stamping onto white card stock and embossing with white embossing powder, blending Sweet Blush, Spring Moss and Aqua Mist through the image. Trimming around the image and adhering to a trimmed piece of white card stock using foam dimensionals, adding a sentiment from the same stamp set to the base of the white card stock, adding 2 strips of Score Tape and adhering glitter. Trimming more white card stock to form a card and adhering the image to the card using more foam dimensionals.

Well I hope that you all have a wonderful day, and I will hopefully be back here tomorrow to share another project.

Hugs
