Tearrific!

Hey sweet friends! Rainy day here today, my fav, sitting here once again, typing the blog post to you all watching out the french doors..and decided to be a little naughty with lunch too, how is this for an unhealthy lunch...but you know YUM! it was and well it makes me smile...LOL.

So today my card that I created for Purple Onion Designs is being featured on the blog so I thought it be fitting to feature it here too for you all to view.

Taking Kraft card stock, trimming to form a card and taking a Cuttlebug folder, embossing the front of the card, next, rubbing some Frost White over the embossed parts. Taking white card stock and stamping some of the images from the Coffee and Tea set, colouring them in with my Copics and trimming around each of the images. Taking more white card stock, trimming to size and sewing around the edges of the card stock, adhering the images to the card stock using foam dimensionals and then adhering to the front of the card with more foam dimensionals. Finally, trimming some Aqua Mist card stock to form a banner, stamping a sentiment from the same stamp set onto the banner and adhering to the card once again using more foam dimensionals and pearls either side of the sentiment.

As Michele mentioned on her blog a mix of whimsy and vintage and I suppose looking at this card, this is true :)

Before I leave, I posted yesterday a craft room that I like the french doors and the colour of the room and that I found this image on Pinterest..one of my blog readers let me know the link to this craft room, so I popped on over to see, as she told me that she had made changes to her room..and WOW! loving this room more so now...so check out Posie Gets Cozy. I have been having a little look around this wonderful blog and I will be back to check more of it out. Thanks Heather for letting me know :)

Okay so I am off to get a little work done around here and hopefully some crafty time...don't forget there is still time to enter my first challenge and remember that if you don't have a blog you can still enter by using a gallery, just make sure to add everything to your description.

Have a great day!

Hugs

What a delight, both your blog and this card! I am figuratively up the road from you in Sydney and just wanted say hello. You are not short on talent are you? So much eye candy. Where do you get Purple Onion stamps in Australia? I think I need a stamp or three. Love the embossed texture and..well, everything really about your gorgeous card! Onya!
