This week I will be sharing many of the cards that I created at the weekend, I had a lot of fun just coming and going from the craft room and having the mojo on my side was great too.
This is one of the cards that I created.
I took a some Eggshell Layering paper, trimmed it to size and took the Old Letter Writing background stamp, inking it with some Soft Sand ink, stamping over the top of the layering paper, then sewing around the edge of the paper. Taking some patterned paper from My Minds Eye, Rose & Stella, Gertie collection and stamping two of the flowers from the Four Flowers stamp set, as well as two leaves from the Layered Flowers stamp set, trimming each of the stamped images out, adhering the smaller flower to the centre of the larger flower. I attached the leaves to the flower, adding foam dimensionals and adhering to the layering paper. Next, trimming some white card stock to form a tag, rounding the corners of 2 of the tag and stamping a sentiment from the Sending Smile Message stamp set. I then adhered the layering paper to some trimmed pink card stock, then onto a Snow card, adding pearls to complete the card.
I loved making this card and feel that I will be making more of these in the future, paper piecing is fun, yet quick to.

This is sooo purty Joy!! Love the soft colours together. I ordered a fair bit of new HA last week (or was it the week before??) as well as my biggest ever PTI order and they should be here in the next day or so!! I think I also ordered this paper pad - it soooo lovely. Can't wait to get all inky and crafty again. So glad you got to have so much fun coming and going with your stash over the weekend.
