Hydrangea Birthday!

Hey Friends! Today is Sunday and we all know what that is today..Yes it is another card creation for Jay Gee's Nook. But before we get into the creation for today, I wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone again for all their wonderful comments and great enthusiasm for my very first Challenge. There are goodies up for grabs and I would so love it if you could all join in the fun...to view all the details about the Challenge you can go HERE, or if you forget I have added a link to the top of my blog that will take you directly to the details of how to enter.

So what better way to start the day off today writing my blog post to you all whilst I sit here on a balmy Autumns day looking out the french doors of my lounge room into our backyard....that is what I call a relaxing Sunday morning.

The card I share with you today was created with one of my all time favourite stamps from Hero Arts...Hydrangea...I love flower stamps and this one is right up there.

I took white card stock, stamped the Hydrangea onto the card stock and coloured in with my Copics, trimming around the image and set aside. Next, taking more white card stock and the La Lettre stamp, inking with some Latte ink and stamping on the card stock, trimming to size, adding some Pumice Stone distress ink to the outer edges to soften, adhering the hydrangea with foam dimensionals. I then adhered this card stock to some soft pink card stock and then onto a trimmed bone card. Finally, trimming white card stock to form a tag, stamping a sentiment from the Find Joy stamp set, adding a pink pearl either side of the sentiment, then adhering this to the card front to complete the card.

Okay so it is time for me to stop the dreaming out the french doors and move out of this chair as there is lots of crafty projects to do in my crafty room today.

But before I do, come along with me and jump over to the blog to check out what Judith and Ange have been creating this week...Oh and there is still time to enter the fab challenge too, there is also so great goodies up for grabs there also.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hugs!
