Engraved Daisy!

Hey girls! love weekends, don't you? Anyone had much crafty time today? Me, have been a little lazy on both house work and crafting front...some done though, we experienced yet another warm, humid day here today, days like this seem to flatten me. But have managed to create a card for your viewing, one in which I am not sure of, maybe it is the colour combo that I normally don't reach for, who knows, I will leave it up to you all to decide :)

I took Poppy Layering paper, trimming it to form a card and the Old Letter Writing stamp that was inked with Poppy ink, stamping directly onto the card front, applying Walnut Stain distress ink to the edges of the card. Next, trimming white card stock and sewing both top and bottom of the card stock, setting aside to work on the rest of the card. Using more white card stock, I stamped the Engraved Daisy and coloured in with my Copics, trimming the stamped daisy out and adding Antique Linen Stickles to the centre of the daisy. I adhered the white card stock to the card, along with the daisy, adding a sentiment from the Dot Flourish stamp set. Finally adhering rhinestones to complete the card.

Enjoy viewing the card! I will be back tomorrow with another creation for you to feast your eyes on..a little hint..using some new Hero Arts goodies!

Hugs

You must just be uncomfortable with the colors, because the card is gorgeous!!!!! It's a little painful to get out of our comfort zone, isn't it? Beautiful!

A wonderfully cheerful card Joy. Your daisy is fab - beautifully coloured (what's new there?)and I love the little bit of bling. I won't go through every element but your card certainly gets my vote!!
