Damask Feature!

Hey girls! We are inching further to the weekend...I am so, so pleased, but lots on my to do list as well.

I thought that it was time to share another Purple Onion Designs card with you, I love the background stamps, they create such a beautiful background and can be a feature all by itself.

I decided to do just that on this card...

Taking the Vintage Damask stamp inking it with some Soft Pink ink and stamped onto some Carnation Layering paper, trimming around the stamped background and sewing around the edge to give it a more finished look. Next, taking some Eggshell Layering paper and the Jumbo Scallop Die from My Favourite Things, running through my Cuttlebug, then taking the Late 1800's Script Background stamp, inking it with Soft Sand ink stamping onto the scallops. I trimmed some white card stock along with another strip of Eggshell Layering paper, I stamped a sentiment onto the white card stock and adhered all the pieces to the Carnation Layering paper. I trimmed a white card and adhered the background image to the front of the card using foam dimensionals. Finally, completing the card by adding pink pearls to the scallops.

Okay so now for some sharing:

I am in LOVE with THIS card, isn't she so talented!

Loving the new look of this BLOG, we all know she totally ROCKS!

THIS girl must know I love blue, it sings to me this card, just STUNNING!

Simply ELEGANT!

Last but not least, if you have not seen THIS creation yet, well it is a must, so, so, so beautiful!
