I took white card stock and trimmed it to size, stamping the La Lettre that was inked with Broken China distress ink and stamped directly to the card stock, I took more distress ink, Vintage Photo, Broken China and Victorian Velvet and applied to the edge of the card stock. I pierced around the edge of the card stock and set aside. Next, stamping the Traditional Butterfly onto more white card stock, colouring in with my Copics and trimming around the butterfly, adhering to the card stock. Taking more white card stock and stamping a sentiment from the Sending Smiles Messages stamp set and trimming and adhering to the card stock. Lastly, adding pink pearls to the butterfly and sentiment, then adhering the card stock to a trimmed cream card.
I really wasn't sure about this card once I completed it, but you know at the end of the day it brought a smile to my friends face and that was worth it.
Well it is now time for me to get some rest, hoping to spend the day in the craft room tomorrow...
Oh and don't forget to check in at the end of the week, lots happening here on the blog and just a little hint, there may be a giveaway too!
Hope you all have a great night or day depending on where you are reading this blog post.
Hugs
