Valentine Inchies!

Hey Girls! How did you all enjoy your Friday night? We had a really quite night listening to the thunder and rain on the tin roof, nothing better then hearing the rain and the first smells of it hitting the trees, bushes and grasses, I just adore, it is one of my all time favourite things in life and always brings a smile to my face.

So today I thought that I would share another Purple Onion Designs card for you and a Valentines card to boot.

I created this card using one of my favourite paper crafting products at present, Inchies, I have to say at first these little pieces scared the heck out of me, I didn't really know what to do with them. But once I used them on a Christmas card that I created last year that you can view HERE if you have not seen before, I was so hooked and now I cannot wait to pick them up every now and then and create with them.

Joy Taylor - Valentine Inchies

Taking 3 of the inchies and the Damask stamp, I inked up each of the inchies using Colorbox Ink, setting aside to dry. Next, taking some pink card stock, I punched a small heart out and added some pink rhinestones to match. Taking white card stock, trimming it to size to form a card. I then adhered each of the inchies to the card front, using Glossy Accents and adding the heart with foam dimensionals. Lastly, stamping a sentiment that was from the new Christmas line for 2010 and added rhinestones either side of the sentiment.

A really simple card to create, one in which you could change the colours out on the inchies to match that perfect persons personality and as my blog title always suggests, Less is More.

Okay, I hope everyone enjoys there day and don't forget to pop on over to my You tube channel to view the PTI goodies.

Hugs

How beautiful Joy! I have a shoe box filled to the rim with inchies that I had cut out for me at a stationery shop. I remember begging them to do it for me with one of their industrial cutters. And now the box just sits there and the inchies don't get used, but today you have inspired me!

I love using inchies on cards (and they also are nice on ATCs). They make for reall nice cards and are also quick to whip up if you 're in a hurry! :) Great card!
