As it is Sunday, it is time for another DT card for Jay Gee's Nook and I have to say, this time I not overly happy with the card that I created, the stamps are beautiful and they are from A Muse, which I adore, but for me I cannot put my finger on it or maybe I have been looking at the photo and card for too long...LOL.
Starting with Kraft card stock, that was trimmed to form a card, I took the Hero Arts, Envelope Pattern background stamp, stamping on the front of the card with Versamark Ink and clear embossing. Next, taking some white card stock, I trimmed it to fit on the front of the card, then stamping the Rocket and To The Moon sentiment, I coloured the Rocket in using my copics, I then sewed around the edge of the white card stock with navy cotton, I adhered to the card using foam dimensionals. Taking PTI, Cloud Die, I ran it through my Cuttlebug, cutting 2 clouds out of Vintage Cream felt, then adhering both clouds to the image. To finish the card, I wrapped some twine at the base of the card.
Okay so I am off to check out what the other DT members have been up to and to also check out the shop as well, because I have just realised that there are some yummy new products that have arrived, so lets skip on over and check it out.

Hmmm...I know how you feel and I don't make cards on a professional level so I've always blamed that feeling on my lack of skill and eye for design! But I can say there are times when it's not that anything is necessarily wrong I just don't feel I quite captured the essence of the stamps. Friends and family will compliment my work, oohing and ahhing over it but it doesn't assuage my feelings about it. Still I will say, your card looks wonderful to me! Love the clouds and the stitching:)
