Jay Gee's Nook Challenge 4

Hey bloggie Friends! Being a really hot day here today, I am staying under the A/C and not doing too much, but before I do the "Not too Much" day, I wanted to share the card that I have created for the start of a new challenge over at Jay Gee's Nook.

I can honestly say, that this is my favourite inspiration photo yet.

Isn't it just the nicest, I love all those natural colours and the possibilities of creating a card just from these few images is mind blowing.

Here is my creation.

I took a Hero Arts note card, Mocha, and stamped the Envelope Pattern stamp that was inked with Latte ink over the front of the note card, setting aside to work on the rest of the card. Next, trimming some Kraft card stock to size, I stamped the Three Ferns stamp, that was inked with Latte ink. I took a piece of Sticky Back Canvas and ripped and frayed the piece to the desired size, gluing it on top of the Kraft card stock. Taking some Vellum, I stamped the Traditional Butterfly, inked with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimming around the butterfly and attaching to the fern stamped image using Glossy Accents. Then taking a piece of white card stock, I trimmed it to size and stamped a sentiment from the Find Joy stamp set, adhering the tag to the Sticky Back Canvas using foam dimensionals. Lastly, adding some natural Jute, rhinestones and adhering the main image to the front of the card with foam dimensionals to complete the card.

Okay so I don't know about you, but I am itching to jump on over the Jay Gee's Nook and check out the blog, because, today not only are the DT members creating some eye candy for you, but there is also a special guest, and one that I am really excited about, so come along and join me and don't forget to join in the fun of creating a card for this challenge.

Have a great day!

Hugs
