Here is the inspiration photo, love the pinks and yellows together, so soft and pretty.
I decided to create 2 cards featuring the colours that I drew from the picture.

Using the A Muse stamp Marigold (I love, love, love this stamp, so much that you can create with this beauty) I stamped it a couple of times onto the pink and yellow gingham card stock from A Muse and cut around the flowers, adding a Basic Grey brad through the centre of each and dusting around the edges of the flowers using distress ink, scattered straw and spun sugar. I took white card stock trimmed it to size to form 2 cards and running the fronts of the cards through my Cuttlebug, embossing each. Taking more white card stock, trimmed to size, top edge corner rounded using the corner chomper and trimming a punching yellow and pink card stock with the Fiskars, Apron Lace border punch, adhering to the bottom of the trimmed white card stock. I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the Find Joy stamp set to the bottom of the trimmed card stock, lastly, added foam dimensionals to the base of trimmed card stock and to the flowers adhering everything to the card.
I hope that these 2 cards give you some inspiration to enter the new challenge, why not follow me over to the blog and check out what all the other DT members and the special guest have created. Also don't forget to check out the store, new and awesome products at unbelievable prices, things range from Hero Arts products (even the new catalogue products), Janes Doodles buttons and stamp set, great twine, Lawn Fawn stamps and many more so be sure to check them all out.
I also wanted to add here, that as most of you know if you have read THIS post or have seen the photo in the side bar that I am having a blog candy giveaway for my first blog anniversary, I did say that I would be announcing the winner on Saturday the 15th January, due to other commitments on my blog at that time that I will be now announcing the winner on Sunday the 16th January (Australian time). Sorry for the delay, entries will still close on Friday the 14th January, so be sure and read the post and comment for a chance to win.
Okay so I am off to try and stay cool somewhere, it is a stinker here today.
Hugs
