Card for Jay Gee's Nook - Sunday DT

Hey everyone! Today brings us to another DT card for Jay Gee's Nook, but before I head on into the creation, I will announce the winner or my Blog Anniversary Giveaway. Firstly, I wanted to take the time to thank each and everyone of you that commented on my blog and for ones that are new to my blog and are now following, I hope that you find something that inspires you. Thank you to everyone!

The winner of the giveaway is:

BARB FROM WA

Congratulations Barb, can you email me your address so that I can post your goodies to you.

Okay now onto the card for today.

I decided to create a Valentines card for today using the sweet Raining Hearts stamp from Elzybells, now as we all know they are no longer in production but they are still for sale at Jay Gee's Nook, they are the sweetest stamps and stamp up so well, so why not check out what she has in store.

I trimmed white card stock to form the card, also trimming more white card stock to stamp the image onto. I coloured the image in with my Copics and sewed around the outside of the card stock. Next, I trimmed some pink gingham card stock and adhered to the card, also adhering the stamped image using foam dimensionals. Lastly, stamping a corresponding sentiment and adding some pearls either side of the card stock.

I wish to add here that I was totally inspired by Carly Robertson who is just the sweetest and most talented gal out there, you must check out her blog and sweet little Etsy store to.

Well, I am currently in the middle of trying to get my house clean, and for a breather decided to write this post. I think I have lost several kilos from pure sweat today (or at least I hope so) it is extremely hot here today, and all I can say is roll on Winter.

Wishing you all a wonderful rest of the weekend, I look forward to bringing you another creation tomorrow.

Hugs
