Blog Anniversary and Candy!

Hey Everyone! So today brings me to my One Year Anniversary of my blog, can you believe it has been a year already that I started this little old blog, where has the time gone to. So much has happened in the last 12 months on this blog and in the crafting world and I could not be more happier, I have meet some of the most wonderful, talented, inspiring and creative friends through my love of this beautiful craft and I hope to continue to make many more.

I wanted to take the time to thank each and everyone one of you for all your truly beautiful comments on my creations, you have no idea how much it means to me to see the wonderful comments each time I post about my creation, it warms my heart when I read every comment. Your support and encouragement inspires me to create more and I hope that inspires you also to take that little time to create something also. Thank you, thank you, thank you one in all.

As a thank you I am offering a little blog candy up for grabs and also the card below that I have created that was inspired by my sweet friend Jennifer McGuire. There are lots of goodies in this sweet package, in order to have a chance at winning, leave me a comment by Friday 14th January, 11.59pm (Australian Time), telling me what your favourite Hero Arts stamp was for 2010 and why? Also add the photo to your blog, linking back to mine so that everyone has a chance of winning.

100_5434

I will be sharing my favourite stamp on Saturday 15th January and also the winner of blog candy, so be sure to check back in.

100_5429

Here is the card that I created for the blog candy and a thank you also! As something a little different I am going to leave this card to your imagination, but if you wish to know how I created this card, I have added a little tab at the top of my blog which says Ask Me Questions, so now if you wish to ask me something you can. Much easier then asking me through the comments section, sometimes that is hard for me to return the answer.

Thank you everyone once again, I look forward to reading all of your comments.

Hugs!

I get to go first yeah!!!! My favourite stamp from Hero Arts in 2010 was the Poppy - in all it's varieties... both the wood stamp silhouette and the clear set with the two poppies (both of which I have) and the single wood poppy. Just loved all the cards made with them. It is so versatile.

Hi JOY! I always love to hop over to your blog to look at ur cards because they are so awesome! I love how they are simple, but yet still outstanding :)

You;ve set a hard question! because i love almost all the hero arts stamps! If I were to choose one, that will be the heart-winged butterfly. Because it's so versatile that it can be used on cards for many many occasions :D

Thank you for this blogcandy!
Cheers!

long time lurker, first time commenter (we all come out of the woodwork when there's prizes up for grabs huh?). Love your cards, you are always so inspiring to me. I have to admit that 2010 was a year where I made the most cards but did the least stamping (in an attempt to diminish my massive collection of papers, chipboard & alpha stickers!). But one Hero Arts stamp I loved & used a lot was the "Make Your Own" cling - these stylish ladies suited so many projects for the many ladies in my life who really do make their own fashion & it was a great stamp for paper piecing & coloring. Anyhow, enough from me, thanks for the chance to win.

Congrats on one year! My favorite HA stamp set from 2010 must be the Four Dolls clear stamp set, as I'm able to do so many fun things with it =)

Time sure flies doesn't it? And I don't even have a blog. For shame, I do not have any Hero Arts stamps, I found your blog, Jennifer McGuire and Shari Carroll. You all do amazing things with your paper crafting! Now that Christmas is past, I have to concentrate on a May wedding and cringe at the thought of the cost of it and it will be very limited at that. But for example, I spent 30.00 on a handful of fabric and a few ribbon roles, which are minimal to the big things. LOL But I will have to have the Friend defintion background stamp.

How generous of you to share all that good crafting stuff! Congrats on your blog-a-versary! I catch your blog in my google reader.. always nice to see new posts!

Happy Blogaversary, Joy! Thanks for the lovely candy!

My favorite stamps for 2010 are F5444 Baby Reindeer and CL389 Mi Casa. I really love the baby reindeer from the first time it was posted on Hero Arts main page header. I just fall for it charming. While the Mi Casa set I like it as it brings me a lot of inspiration of family togetherness. However, I am yet to any of these due to budget constraint. :(

Anyhow, I am glad I am able to join candies that offered by kind people like yourself so that I can collect all sort of stamp sets!

Hi Joy, Happy Blog Anniversary. Thanks for inspiring me with your beautiful cards and videos. With our mutual love of Hero Arts Stamps, I called you "our Australian version of Jennifer McGuire" and haven't you gone ahead in leaps and bounds?...You so deserve the accolades.. You told me I needed to start a Blog, so I finally bit the bullet, http://barbsnofrillcards.blogspot.com/
One of my favourite Hero Arts Stamps, (if I really have to pick one, would be: "Heart Owls"...They're so cute, and so versatile to use on most types of cards from baby, birthday, engagement, weddings or just to say I'm thinking of you. X fingers and good luck with your continued recognition of your fabulous talent.

Forgot to say which was my favorite stamp of 2010 from our friends at Hero Arts, tough call because I love them all, but the large flower cling (used in your card) is one I reach for often as it is so easy to create a quick card with.

Joy I have really enjoyed getting to know you this year in our HA group and being inspired bye your work really has helped me. Congrats on your anniversary here. My fav. stamp this year past was the friend definition. I love it so much. It really does add that special touch to every card and the descriptions of the meaning of friendship are so great to read when used on a stamped card background. I did share your blog candy on my blog and you can check it out at

Can't believe you have only been blogging for one year! I do so enjoy visiting your blog and seeing your beautiful creations. As for my favorite Hero Arts stamp for 2010, it's a toss up between Merry Christmas Trees and Music Background. Don't think I can narrow it down any more than that! LOL! Thanks for the generous blog candy and again, congratulations!!!

congratulations on your blog-0-versary! I spent most of last year in bed to ill to craft much and did not get to use my stamps but one day a friend stopped by with a child. While we talked I could tell the child was antsy to leave. I stamped a couple of images and let her color them in. She had a great time and wanted to stay longer. Before she left she gave one of the images she had just colored "to make me feel better" she said. I gave her a piece of tape and she stuck it on my wall. It is still there and I smile every time I notice see it. It is the large butterfly from the antiques Engravings clear set. From now on, one of my favorite stamps. Oz
