Morning All! Well it is finally hump day, meaning that I am getting closer AARGHHHH! to the dreaded Easter weekend at work........LOL, I work all weekend :(.
Okay so I have to post early today as I will be at work late tonight.
I started with white card stock, folded in half and on the front of the card I stamped 3 little trees from the Hero Arts, Mi Cassa stamp set, coloured the trunks in with a brown Copic and set aside. Then on 3 different patterned papers, I think were from the My Minds Eye, Quite Contrary Collection, I stamped the little trees once more and then cut each little leaf out of the 3 pieces of patterend paper, I then adhered each leaf to the trees with some foam dimensionals to give some height. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Essential Messages stamp set at the bottom of the card and some pearls for accents.
Just had to say a big WOW! to Jennifer McGuire, is this a BEAUTY or what????
Also a couple of links here if you have not seen them of Flickr group, something to wet the taste buds, HERE,HERE, also HERE.
Just had to add this as well from the Two Peas site check THIS out, how adorable.
Enjoy the card for today and also your day.
Have a great one!

Hello All! How are we today? Are you all getting ready for Easter? I fear at work it is like the lull before the storm somehow, I know by then end of the week it is going to be madness, cannot wait for it to be over.
I made today's card last night, I have a few left over butterflies that I had coloured in and cut out so decided to use one of them to make a card, just need to use the rest of them now, will have to come up with something.
I started with red card stock, folded in half and ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug, embossing it with Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then cut a strip of white card stock and a piece of black card stock slightly bigger then the white, set the black card stock aside and with the white card stock I stamped Hero Arts, Friend Definition cling stamp with black ink to cover the entire white strip. I adhered the white card stock to the black card stock and also adhered this to the red card. I glued a butterfly to the top of the stamped white card stock and added some feelers to the butterfly. I then took another piece of white card stock and made a tag in which I stamped Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings sentiment, I attached foam dimensionals to the tag and placed onto the card. Lastly, I added red pearls to the tag and to the centre of the butterfly to finish the card.
Here is another view of the card.
I hope you like what you see tonight.
Just to also let you know that I have started a Twitter account and also a Formspring account, you can view both of them in my sidebar, ask me anything or if you would like to follow me with Twitter just pop on over and view. Not sure that my life is all that interesting though......LOL. I think that I need to learn more about Twitter and have more followers..........so I will see how it goes.
Have a wonderful night, and I will catch you all tomorrow or on Twitter..........Must not forget that I have this.........LOL.
Bye for now.
Hugs.

Hello Everyone! I hope you are enjoying today, this is the start of a very busy week this week for me, so if I happen to miss a post, please forgive me.
As you can probably tell I have been tweeking my blog a little, I have added a few other things and namely one which happens to be a photo of myself, I though it was time to reveal me......LOL, although I really don't like photos of myself and I not really keen on this one either, but I can always change it later on.
So today's card I started with kraft card stock, folded in half and stamped over the front of the card with a flower from the Hero Arts, Color Me Flowers Cling stamp set with Papertrey Ink, Vintage Cream Ink, I set this aside to dry. I then took a piece of white card stock and stamped another flower from the same set of stamps twice and also a leaf from the Hero Arts, Big and Small Flowers stamp set onto the card stock and took my Copics and coloured all images in until I was satisfied with the end result (see photo below of Copics used). Once they were coloured in I cut the images out making sure one flower was smaller then the other and placed a My Minds Eye crystal brad through the centre to hold both flowers together, I adhered the leaves to the back of the flower and attatched to the card with some foam dimensionals. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Thoughtful Messages stamp set which I stampd with some Colorbox Ink, Muted Moods, Antique Pewter, I also added some rhinestones to finish the card.
Here is the photo of Copics.
I hope you enjoy today's card and it gives you a little inspiration kick.
Have wonderful evening everyone and I will try and catch you all tomorrow.
Have Fun!

Afternoon Everyone on this fine Sunday, are you all enjoying your weekend? Mine has been bliss, being able to work in the craft room, although I must admit that not much has been card making, so I will have to get cracking on that. My partner Darryl, brought my next piece of furniture into my craft room, I think a week ago now and I have been playing with that really, as to where I now wish to have it situated and also trying to work out what I wish to store in it. Such a clever guy and I am ever so appreciative, I think that I am really one lucky gal.
Alright enough babble from me.
The card I made today I incorporated to of my favourite companies, Hero Arts and Papertrey Ink. I started with white card stock for the card and at the base of the card I stamped a row of polka dots from the Papertrey Ink, Polka Dots Basics 2 stamp set with some Papertrey Ink, Sweet Blush ink, I added a sentiment from Papertrey Ink, Signature Greetings and stamped this with some Colorbox Ink, Muted Moods, Antique Pewter, I really wanted to keep the feel of this card soft, hence this colour. I set the card aside to dry and proceeded with the flower. I stamped onto some My Minds Eye, Lush Collection, Pink Floral, using the back of this paper as it has small polka dots with Colorbox Ink, Antique Pewter. I then coloured sections of the flower with a soft pink Copic and cut the image out. I added some foam dimensionals to the back of the flower and attatched to the front of the card, bending the flowers for more dimension. Lastly, I added some pearls to the centre of the flower and scatters of pearls to either side of the sentiment.
I hope you enjoy today's card and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and have a look.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Hugs.

Hi Everyone! Are you enjoying your weekend, I was so pleased that my week was over for work, what a hectic week, but unfortunately it is only going to get worse I think next week as we lead up to Easter. I will be ever so grateful once it is over. I do apologise for not being around much this week, thus due to work commitments, I am hoping that this weekend I will be able to make a few cards to have in reserve ready to post for you, incase work gets a little hairy.
Well today's card I broke out my Papertrey Ink, Dot Spot stamp collection again. I started with white card stock for the card folded in half and in the bottom corner I stamped a greeting from the Papertrey Ink, Signature Greetings stamp set then ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug embossing it with Swiss Dots, I set aside. I then proceeded to make a flower out of a flower punch that I purchased the other day, I punched 4 flowers out of white card stock and punch a hole through the centre, big enough to have a brad go through the centre. On each of the flowers I stamped a Papertrey Ink, Dot Spot stamp in Colorbox Ink, Rainforest, Celadon ink, I also cut some leaves out of the same white card stock and stamped a stamp from the same set in Colorbox Ink, Rainforest, Olive. Once all the pieces were dry I attatched the flowers together with a My Minds Eye, Lush Collection, Pearl Brad and moved each flower around until I was happy with the end result. I then attatched the leaves to the back of the flower and added foam dimensionals under this and attatched to the card. Lastly, I added some pearls to finish the card off.
Here is another view of the card.
A very white card, but very effective card and a stamp set that is very versatile to use.
I hope you enjoy today's card and that today has treated you all with much happiness.
Have a wonderful Saturday night.
Bye for now.

Evening All! Well I was not going to post tonight seeing as I am so, so, so tired after a very long and hectic week, but I have had this card in reserve, still unsure about it, but I decided to post it anyway.
I started with pink card stock for the base, folded in half and took my Hero Arts, Old Letter Writing and stamped over the front of the card with Versamark Ink, although very hard to see in photo. I set this aside to dry. I then took a piece of white card stock and ran it through my Cuttlebug, cutting a die from the Spellbinders, Labels 8. On the die I stamped a Hero Arts, Creative Trees, Tree and sponged over the tree with Papertrey Ink, Sweet Blush. I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Thoughtful Messages stamp set and also some pearls scattered around the die. Lastly, I added some foam dimensionals under the die and attatched to the card.
Here is another view of card.
Very simple and clean look, once I had finished the card it remindered me of Lucy's cards that she makes from time to time, what a fantastic person for inspiration, her creative mind always inspires me.
Enjoy the rest of your night.

Evening Everyone! Rather a late posting tonight and one that I am surprised with too, I am sooooo tired it is not funny, work has been full on and staying up late then having to be at work early in the morning is starting to catch up, cannot wait for the weekend. I however, have amazed even myself tonight and ventured into the craft room and have produced a card for all of you to feast your eyes on.........LOL.
I started with a cream card folded in half and set aside, I had some butterflies from the Hero Arts, Antique Engravings stamp set that I had coloured in the other day so I decided to use some of them up on card, these butterflies were all coloured in with my Copics (see photo below for colours used). I had already cut them out so all they needed was to be adhered to the card and left to dry. While the butterflies were drying I stamped a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Thoughtful Messages stamp set at the bottom of the card, I added some pearls and rhinestones either side of the message (thanks to the lovely and talented Jennifer McGuire for this inspiration). Once the butterflies were dry I added pearls to the centres of each of the butterflies and also added antennas to finish the card.
Here is another view of the card.
Here is a photo of Copics used.
Very simple card, but one that I think is eye catching.
Enjoy tonight's card and if I don't catch you tomorrow, possibly due to work commitments then I will catch you all very soon.
Have a great rest of your night.

Hello Everyone! How are we enjoying this fine Monday, I am pleased that it is Monday, because I am now on the down hill run for the weekend, Yippie!
Today's card I decided to break out another set of Papertrey Ink stamps that I received the other day.
I started with white card stock for the card, folded in half and set aside. I then took a piece of Papertrey Ink, Aqua Mist card stock and my Papertrey Ink, Polka Dot Basics 2, I stamped medium sized polka dots with Papertrey ink, Aqua Mist making sure I covered the piece of card stock. I then ran it through my Cuttlebug and cut a die shape using Spellbinders, Labels 8 die. After cutting the die cut out of the Aqua Mist card stock I then took my Papertrey Ink, Throught the Trees stamp and stamped a set of trees from this set with some black ink onto the Aqua Mist card stock. I added dimensionals under the die cut and placed onto the card. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the same set of Papertrey Ink, Through the Trees stamp set at the bottom of the card and some rhinestones either side of the sentiment.
As the header of my blog says "Less is More", well this card really reflects my style. I really am very happy with how this turned out and am looking forward to using more of Papertrey Ink stamps to create some lovely cards.
I hope that this card is inspirational for you today and I will see you all tomorrow for another card.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Everyone! Well it is Sunday and I am pleased that day 2 of my weekend is over, that means that it is one more day closer to the weekend that I have off from work........LOL.
Today's card, I had a play with my some of my new stamps that arrived on Friday, Antique Engravings. I have to say YUM! those butterflies are just super lovely.
I started with white card stock for the card and stamped over the front of the card with Hero Arts, Flourish Background cling stamp with Versamark Ink and embossed it with American Crafts, Zing, White embossing powder, heat set and set aside. Onto a scratch piece of white card stock I stamped a butterfly from the Hero Arts, Antique Engravings stamp set and coloured it in with my Copics (see photo below), once coloured in I cut around the butterfly and set aside. I also took another piece of white card stock and cut to size to fit the card front and with Hero Arts, Soft Sand, Shadow Ink I stamped over the top in various places with 2 other butterflies from the same stamp set, I then took Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen and blended over the top and the sides to soften the look. Once I was happy with the desired look I adhered to the front of the card, I then adhered the coloured butterfly towards the top of the strip and set aside. I took a piece of white card stock and cut a tag out and stamped a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Thank You Sayings stamp set, I added an antique brad at one end and some pearls to the other end of the sentiment and the middle part of the butterfly. Lastly, I added dimensionals to the tag and placed at the bottom of the card.
Here is another view of the card.
Here is a photo of the Copics that were used to colour the butterfly.
I loved the look of this card, from the embossed white on white card stock to the antiqued look of the rest of the card, something very different but effective and gives you a chance to use different techniques.
I hope you like what I have created today and that you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Look forward in catching you all tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look!!

Hi Everyone! How is the start of your weekend going? I hope that you are all feeling for me, I have to work all weekend. Roll on next weekend is all I can say.
Today's card or should I say cards, I started with white card stock for the cards and proceeded to stamp the Hero Arts, Friend Definition cling stamp over the front of the cards in Hero Arts, Soft Sand Shadow Ink, set these aside to dry. I then took another 3 pieces of white card stock cut to fit the card and stamped a flower on each from the Hero Arts, Stamp a Garden stamp set, I coloured each of the flowers in with my Copics (see photo below for what colours I used), I then cut 3 coloured pieces of card stock that matched the flowers that were coloured in and adhered each to the corressponding stamped flower card stock and then adhered to the card fronts. Once all attatched to the cards I added some rhinestones to each, under the flowers. I then added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Thoughtful Messages stamp set and stamped 2 butterflies from the Hero Arts, Good Fortune stamp set in various places on the cards. Lastly, I added some trail lines from the butterflies that were above the stamped flowers to finish of the cards.
Here is a seperate photo of each card that was made.

Here is a photo of the Copics used.
3 sweet little cards for a special someone.
Enjoy these cards today and I hope to see you all tomorrow.

Morning all, how is everyone today being that it is the end of the week? I am hoping for another day in the craft room creating, I had a late one last night creating, but when the creative juices flow I think you just have to go with it.
As my heading for today's blog post says Sunshine and Happiness, this card reminded me of spring when all the butterflies come out to play and the flowers begin to shine, I can only say this at present as we are now in Autumn and I saw my first sign of that yesterday, with the 2 big trees out the front of our house have some deep purple leaves on them already, so it is definitely on it's way.
Well enough blabbering from me, here is today's card.
I started with white card stock for the card and ran the front cover through my Cuttlebug, embossing it with my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then took another piece of white card stock and stamped along the bottom of it with grass from the Hero Arts, Stamp a Garden stamp set in Colorbox Ink, Rainforest, Fresh Green, I also added more highlighting over the grass with my Copics. From the same set of stamps I took a flower and stamped at one end of the card stock, I then took my Stampin Up, Bashful Blue ink and blended to form a sky, once I was happy with the end result, I proceeded to colour my flower in with my Copics (see photo below for all Copics used). From the Hero Arts, Good Fortune stamp set I stamped some little butterflies and added some trail work with a black marker. I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Thoughtful Messages stamp set and some rhinestones to either side of the sentiment. Once everything had been stamped and coloured on the white card stock I cut another strip of purple card stock to match and adhered it under the coloured card stock, I also added dimensionals and placed onto the white card.
Here is a photo of Copics used.
I thought that today's card turned out rather cute and I love how it looks like a scene.
Let's hope it gives you a little of inspiration to create one of your own.
I also wanted to share with you today, some stamps that arrived this morning, I have been longing for these and I cannot wait to get using them, I love those little owls, they are so sweet!.........LOL.
Well enjoy your day today and I hope that it is filled with much crafting from you all.
Catch you all tomorrow and thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

Hi Everyone! How are you enjoying your day, mine has been great, I have 2 days off, the only down side to that is I have to work the weekend, but at least these 2 days gives me a chance to play in my craft room, which anyone would agree is always fun.
I made this card the other day using Martha Stewart punch.
I started with cream card stock for the card, cut and folded in half and set aside. I then took some kraft card stock and cut 3 little squares out of the card stock, just big enough to fit across the front of the card, I then took my Hero Arts, Cling stamp, Flourish Background and stamped over the top using Papertrey Ink, Vintage Cream ink, I also blended the sides with the same ink and heat set the ink, as I have found that Papertrey Ink takes a little longer to dry then most other inks. Whilst the kraft card stock was having a little bit more time to dry, I took my Martha Stewart, Classic Butterfly 3 in 1 punch and punched butterflies out of some pink, green and blue card stock (these colours always remind me of spring), I glued each of the butterflies to the kraft card stock and added pearls to their centres. I added some foam dimensionals under the kraft card stock and attatched to the cream card. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the Valentine Sayings stamp set and stamped this with some Hero Arts, Shadow Ink, Soft Sand, I also added some pearls either side of the sentiment to finish off the card.
I hope you like what you see today and I will be back tomorrow with another creation.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Morning All! Well quick post this morning, I have a rotten headache and it is leaning more toward a slight migraine, but I didn't want to dissappoint everyone by not having a card here today.
I started with pink card stock for the card, folded in half and set aside. I took a small piece of white card stock and stamped a little flower from the Hero Arts, Artistic Border stamp set, I coloured the image with my Copics (see photo below for what colours I used), once the image was coloured I then stamped another flower onto some scratch white card stock and coloured the image in again, then cut the flower heads out and set aside. I blended the background over the image with some Papertrey Ink, Spring Moss and Aqua Mist, once I was happy with the blending effect I added foam dimensionals under each of the cut flower heads and placed them over the top of the flowers that had the blended background, I added a pearl to each of the flower centres and set aside. I then took a piece of kraft card stock and using a Spellbinder, Square Classic Large die I ran it through my Cuttlebug and cut it out, I adhered the card stock with the stamped flower image onto the front of the die cut and added dimensionals underneath and placed onto the card. I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the Valentines Sayings set and lastly, I added some extra pearls.
Here is a photo of what Copics I used.
I hope you like today's card.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
See you all tomorrow.

Hi Everyone! Well I got to break out my new Papertrey Ink stamps today and I have been having some fun with them, cannot wait to do more cards with these awesome products.
I have been asked by a work colleague to make a 21st birthday card for him, so I decided to try something that had a little bit of a funky side to it. I would love the feedback, as I am not really sure about the card.
I started with white card stock for the card and then broke out my new stamp set from Papertrey Ink, Dot Spot, I stamped over the front of the card using Colorbox Ink, Sweet Sixteen, in Peony, Turquoise, Teal and Pink, I set this aside to dry. Whilst the front of the card was drying I took some raw chipboard numbers and alphas and covered the chipboard with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Black Soot making sure that all the surface was covered with the ink. Once all items were dry I assembled the chipboard onto the card with some foam dimensionals. Lastly, I rounded the corners to add to the funky look of the card.
I really hope that the young girl that will be receiving the card will like what she see's.
I hope that you are enjoying your day today and that maybe you have had a little time to do some stamping.
Take care everyone and I will catch you all tomorrow.

Afternoon All! Are you enjoying the start of the week? Mine was a very early start this morning, I had to be at work by 6am and with only 2hrs sleep last night it is now becoming a very long day.
I am sharing a little stamping haul that I got when I came home from work today, I ordered quite a substantial amount of products from Papertrey Ink and I am super excited to be able to have a play, but if I don't happen to get a card done tonight to post well I will leave you with a photo of my goodies that I received, it's just I have the assessor coming later this afternoon to check out the damage that occurred here the other night with the big storm so need to tend to that first. But after that if I can muster the energy and I have not fallen asleep in the process you might get to see a card that I have made with some of these goodies.
Thought that I would also share some links with you to keep you going for the moment.
How about these for beautiful cards, I spotted these over at Two Peas, check it out, you gotta love that girl, she makes some incredible things.
Isn't this just so sweet!
This is just simply stunning!!
Love this, so unique and simply lovely!
Have great afternoon everyone.
Hope to catch you all tomorrow.

Hi Everyone! Well it is Sunday morning and the last day of relaxation before the week begins again. I am hoping to finish of the house work today and get into the craft room.
Well today's card I started with soft blue card stock for the card, folded it in half and set aside. I then took a cream piece of card stock and a piece of kraft card stock and cut to the size that fit the card. On the kraft card stock I stamped Hero Arts, Cling Flourish Background stamp in Colorbox Ink, Frost White, I also blended the edges of the kraft card stock with the same ink, I then took my white gel pen and added some white dots over the stamped image. Next, I took some soft green card stock and punched 27 butterflies out with my Martha Stewart, 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch, I then adhered a layer of butterflies onto the kraft card stock to form the pattern that I was after and proceeded to add another 2 layers on top of each butterfly to give them dimension, once these were dry I added feelers to each of the butterflies and a rhinestone to the centre of each. Each of the kraft and cream card stocks were adhered together with dimensionals and added to the blue card. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts, Truly Appreciatd sentiment to the bottom of the card along with some more rhinestones to finish the card.
Here is another view of the card to see the dimensions of the butterflies.
This card reminded me of Spring when all the butterflies come to fly around the garden.
I hope you enjoy today's card and that your weekend is great!
Catch everyone tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by.

Afternoon Everyone! How are you enjoying your weekend? Those words are always music to my ears, I love to be able to have the weekend off work and play all day in my craft room, and of course clean the house.........LOL.
I made a set of cards today that you could give to any child.
I started with white card stock and cut 6 die shapes using the Spellbinders, Labels 1 Dies, these were all then put together using small strips glued at the top on the inside to hold the fronts and the backs together. I then cut kraft card stock 3 times using a different size Labels 1 Die and stamped over the top of the shape with Hero Arts, Raindrop Background stamp using Versamark Ink, I set these aside to dry. Whilst they were drying I stamped onto some scratch white card stock a hippo and giraffe out of the Hero Arts, Happy Day Animals and also a frog from the Hero Arts, Froggy stamp set and coloured each of the images in with my Copics ( see photo below for what colours I used). I cut each of the images out and mounted with dimensionals onto another Labels 1 Die that I had also cut out with white card stock and had blended with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Shabby Shutters, Faded Jeans and Broken China. Once the images were all mounted onto the various dies I added dimensionals to each one and they were attached to the kraft card stock die then more dimensionals were added to these and placed onto the card. Lastly, I added some sentiments to each cards from the Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings and also the Valentines Sayings stamp sets.
Here is the photo of Copics used.
These turned out to be quite sweet and had a fun time putting them together.
Enjoy the cards today as well as the rest of your Saturday night.
Hope to catch you all tomorrow for another card.
Take care!

Morning All. Well I have been woken up early again this morning with noise across the road and I suppose it did not help when I did not go to bed until 2am this morning, I came home from work and worked on today's card..........LOL, when will I ever learn.........LOL.
So today's card, I started with white card stock and ran the front of the card through the Cuttlebug, embossing it with Swiss Dots. I then took a piece of white card stock and stamped Hero Arts, Artistic Borders, Flower 4 times on the white card stock, I also stamped the same flower another 4 times onto some scratch white card stock, along with some leaves from the Hero Arts, Big and Small Flowers stamp set. I coloured all the images in with my Copic's (see photo below of Copic's used). I then blended over the top wth some Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen. Once this had been blended to the desired look I cut the smaller flowers out of the images that were stamped on scratch white card stock and the leaves, attatched the leaves to the backs of the smaller flowers and added dimensionals under them and mounted between the other flowers that were already stamped on the white card stock. I added some white dots with my white gel pen throughout the blended areas, I also added some blending to the edges of the coloured card stock with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy and I cut 2 strips of a teal coloured card stock and glued them either side of the coloured card stock, I then added some dimensionals to the back and attached to the front of the card. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts, Everday Sayings sentiment and some pearls to finish the card.
Here is another view of the card.
Here is a photo of the Copic's used.
I hope that you like today's card and that you find a little inspiration in what I have created.
Have a great day everyone and I will see you all tomorrow.

Morning Everyone! I am posting early this morning as I have just been woken up with a delivery at my door and there is so much noise going on in my street I had no hope in going back to sleep, so thought I might as well sit here and post this little card that I made, yes, late last night. After washing what seemed like hundreds of towels that we used when the storm happened on Sunday, I had put them through the dryer and so had to wait until the cycle had finished to be able to go to bed, even though I was very tired I made a card whilst I was waiting ............LOL. Between you and me I think that I will be having a nap before heading to work today.........LOL.
So today's card I started with brown card stock for the card, I then stamped Hero Arts, Raindrop Background stamp with Versamark Ink over the top and embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I cut a Spellbinders, Label 1 Die Cut and stamped a Hero Arts, Artistic Borders, Corner Flower onto one of the corners of the die cut, I coloured the image in with my Copics (see photo below for what Copics I used), I blended some Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen over the die cut and set aside to dry. Onto a scratch piece of white card stock I stamped the image again and this time coloured only the flower in, I cut the flower out and mounted it over the top of the stamped flower on the die cut with some dimensionals, I added some Ranger, Inkessentials, Glossy Accents to the edges of the flower. Next I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings in the opposite corner to the flower, I punched some little butterflies out of some watermelon card stock with a Martha Stewart Punch, Classic Butterfly 3 and adhered them to the centre of the die cut. Lastly, I added some black stitching around the edge of the die cut, added some pearls to the centre of the flower as well as the little butterflies and corner rounded the corners of the card.
Here is a photo of the Copics used.
I hope you like what you see today.
Have a great day everyone. I will catch you all tomorrow.

Hello Everyone! How has your Monday been? Mine has been rather tiring, last night at work we had a huge storm that passed over our town and caused a bit of damage, our store was flooded out and what looked like a river floating down the aisles, I have never seen anything like it, we all spent the 4hrs that I was there sweeping water out of the building, an absolute mess. It got worse, once I got home I found out that we had water that came into our dining room and cracked the ceiling, along with water on my beautiful antique side board and it was damaged also, so now the task is to get a hold of the insurance company. So hence after all that I am feeling very tired tonight, so hoping for an early night.
But I did manage to make a card for you just about an hour ago.
I started with white card stock for card, on the front of the card I stamped Hero Arts, Pattern Flowers in Tuxedo Memento black ink 2 times onto the white card and also 2 times onto some scratch white card stock, I then coloured the images in with my Copics (no photo of Copics too many used to show in photo). Once all coloured in I cut 4 of the flowers, the larger head ones out and added dimensionals to these and adhered to the same images on the card front, I added some stamped Hero Arts, dragonflies from the Good Fortune stamp set at the top of the card above the flowers adding some extra interest to the card. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings set to the bottom of the card, making it look like it was wrapping around the card and some pearls between the sentiments.
I hope you like today's card.
Catch you all tomorrow with hopefully another posting.
Enjoy your night.

Hi Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday, we have had some much needed rain overnight, although I am pleased that we have not received the devastating storms that Melbourne has received.
Well today's card I have decided to take the plunge into another challenge and this time with Caardvarks, I loved this photo so much that I tried to make a card that has my interpretation on it.
Here is a challenge photo:

I started with white card stock for the card, folded in half and set aside, I took a cream piece of card stock and ran it through my Cuttlebug, embossing it with the Jamara embossing folder, I cut 2 small strips of soft green card stock and adhered it either side of the embossed card stock, I then adhered the whole lot to the white card. Next, I cut a bird out on my Silhouette Machine with white card stock and sponged Papertrey Ink, Sweet Blush over the top, spritzed it with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pearl and set aside to dry. I had some left over leaves that I had cut the other day on my Silhouette so I decided to sponge them with some Papertrey Ink, Spring Moss and also set these aside to dry. While both die cuts were drying I took some white tissue paper and punch several layers out using my Ek Success 1 and half Inch and 2 inch Scalloped Punches and made 3 poofy flowers out of the tissue paper (thanks to Dawn McVey for the lovely tutorial on how to make these flowers). Once the flowers were made I spritzed them with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pearl and left to dry. Once all die cuts and flowers were dry I assembled them onto the card using foam dimensionals and glue. Lastly, I added a pearl to the bird for an eye and also some scattered pearls over the rest of the embossed area, lightly blended the edges of the card with Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen to soften the card.
Here is another photo of the card:
I hope that this is a good interpretation of the photo, it turned out quite pretty, I only wish you could see the Glimmer Mist in the photos.
Enjoy today's card.
Look forward in catching you all tomorrow.
Bye for now!

Hi Everyone! How are you all enjoying your weekend? I have had to work this weekend so not much playing in the craft room as such, although I did manage to make a card last night ready for today. One of my all time favourite stamp companies that closed down a few years ago, I don't know whether many of you remember Personal Stamp Exchange, I just loved their stamps and only wish the company was still in business along with wishing I had brought more of their stamps, but I have a few so I should be grateful for that.
I decided to colour in one of my favourite PSX stamps, tulips in a bucket, and if you know me you would know that tulips are my absolute favourite flower, followed closely by the rose.
I used white card stock for the card, folded in half and set aside, I then stamped the image onto some scratch white card stock and coloured my image in with my Copics (see photo below for copics used), I blended around the edges with Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen and mounted it onto the card with some dimensionals, I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the Truly Appreciated stamp set at the bottom of the card and lastly, added some pearls to match along with slightly blending the edges with Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen to soften the card.
Here is a photo of the Copics used.
A great stamped image for practiscing my Copic colouring, for I need lots more practice.......LOL.
Enjoy your Saturday night and I hope to catch you all tomorrow before heading to work.
Bye for now!

Afternoon Everyone! Well feeling rather weiry today, I did not get to sleep until 2am this morning, after reading the Hero Arts Blog and finding out that I was the Fresh Face Winner for Feburary Challenge, I was so excited that I just could not settle to sleep.
I just want to take this opportunity to firstly, thank Hero Arts for bestowing this fantastic award on me, I could not be more honoured.
I also wish to congratulate the other winners of this challenge, you are incredibly talented ladies and I am so pleased that I have been chosen to be along such gifted ladies, enjoy your winnings.
Thank you also goes to everyone that has taken the time to pass through my blog and leave such wonderful comments, but also to the ladies on the Flickr group that leave beautiful, encouraging comments over there, you bring a smile to my face everyday. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.
Now, onto today's card, being so tired today I decided to just play around and see what came together, so as usual reached for my distress inks and this is what I came up with.
I started with white card stock for card, then took my Quickutz, Diamonds and Dots embossing folder and put the front of the card in folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug. I took another piece of white card stock and started to blend some Ranger, Distress Inks, Dried Marigold, Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw and Broken China over the piece of white card stock, I then dipped my paint brush in some water and flicked over the surface of the inked card stock, which hence made the ink run, I then heat embossed to dry the card stock, I blended the edges with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy. I took my Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings and stamped a sentiment onto the card stock also stamping butterflies from the Hero Arts, Birds and Butterflies stamp set 3 times onto the card stock, I took my black pen and added some dots that connected from the butterflies to the sentiment. I decided to spritz the card stock with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pearl and heat set, Lastly, I added some pearls in various places over the inked card stock, added some dimesionals and placed onto the card.
Here is another view of card, I tried to get a photo showing the glimmer mist.
A card that uses some great techniques and fun colours.
Enjoy today's card, I hope that you find some inspiration.
Have a happy Friday everyone, think of me tomorrow at work, I hope to catch you all tomorrow with another card.
Bye for Now!

Hi Everyone! Wow nearly the end of the week again, where does it go and we are nearly at Easter already, time is just flying.
Well I have spent this morning making a card that I have fallen in love with, I was super happy with how this turned out.
I started with white card stock for my card and placed it in my Cuttlebug, Jamara Embossing Folder, ran it through my Cuttlebug to emboss the front of the card, set aside and took some more white card stock and stamped the new Hero Arts, Floral Scallop stamp twice onto my card stock, I then coloured it with my Copics (please see photo below for colours used). Once coloured I distress over the top using my Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen, adding extra to the sides of image, I glued 2 pieces of pink card stock strips to each of the sides of the stamped image (inspiration for strips is from the lovely Jennifer McGuire) I then adhered the image to my card. I cut a small strip of white card stock and blended Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen over the top and stamped a sentiment from the Papertrey Ink, Everyday Button Bits stamp set onto strip and adhered it to the image. Lastly, I added some Ranger, Liquid Pearls, White Opal to the centres of the flowers.

A very pretty card that I really enjoyed making. I hope that today's card gives you inspiration.
Enjoy your day!
I will catch you all tomorrow.
