Afternoon All! Are you all enjoying what is left of your weekend? I have enjoyed the weekend, only wished it didn't end so quickly....LOL.
Well today's card I wanted something just a little different from the usual blending affair, so I made a little card perfect for a little girls birthday.
I started with kraft card stock for card folded in half and set aside. I stamped an elephant 3 times onto some white card stock out of the Hero Arts, Happy Day Animals stamp set in Tuxedo Memento black ink, I took my Copics and coloured the images in until I was happy with the end result (see photo below for Copics used). I cut all 3 images out and set aside. I then took a piece of pink card stock and stamped Hero Arts, Raindrop background stamp with Versamark Ink and cut a thin strip. On the card I stamped a sentiment from the same Happy Day Animals set 3 times across the bottom half of the card, I then used a white gel pen and added some dots around the edge of the card to give it a frame, glued the pink strip onto the card, added some pearls between the sentiments and lastly, I added the elephants using some dimensionals.
Here is the photo of Copics.
A sweet card that I think any little girl would love.
I hope you like today's card.
Have a nice rest of the weekend and I will catch you all tomorrow.
Take care.

Happy Weekend everyone! Isn't that a great feeling when you can say that, I just love when I get my weekends off and am able to have play time in the craft room.
So play time today has consisted of me using the technique of cracked glass effect, I first saw this technique on Heather Nichols blog, and I thought wow! what an amazing effect, so today have decided to tackle the challenge and have a go.
I started with cream card stock for the card, blended the edges to soften with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen, set aside to dry. I then cut a piece of kraft card stock with a Spellbinders, Labels 1 die and stamped Hero Arts, Old Letter Writing over the top of die with Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy, also blending the edges with the same ink.
I then stamped a new Hero Arts woodblock stamp, Floral Scallop onto some scratch white card stock in Tuxedo Memento black ink, I took my Copic's (see photo below of colours used) and coloured a section of the stamped image in, then using my Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen I blended over the top to create an aged effect. I punched a circle out of the coloured image and cut a small strip of white card stock and glued it with some removable adhesive to the back of the punched circle so as to give me something to hold onto, I then inked the side that was coloured with Versamark Ink making sure all areas were covered well, then dipped it into my Utee clear embossing powder and proceeded to heat until melted and before drying dipped it back into the embossing powder and did this procedure several times until I was happy with the layers of Utee over the image. Once completely cooled I snapped sections of the circle to produce cracks, hence cracked glass, I then blended some Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy over the top of the cracks allowing it to seep into some of the cracks to give it a more aged look.
I took a piece of Papertrey Ink, Aqua Mist satin ribbon and glued it under the die cut, added some dimensionals and some to the cracked glass image, mounted the die cut onto the card and the cracked glass image off to one side on the die cut, stamped a Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings sentiment to the bottom of the die. Lastly, added some bling to match and some black dots around the die cut for added dimension.
Photo of Copic's
A great technique to try, recommend anyone to have a go, fun process.
I hope that this long post today you find informative and inspirational.
Enjoy your Saturday night.
Look forward in catching you all tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Everyone! Well nearly the end of the week, YAY! Hope everyone is enjoying their day. I have the day off today which is great.
Today's card I made a couple of weeks ago for my friend, she needed a baby card for her friend that had just had a baby girl.
I started with pink card stock for the card, I then cut a piece of green card stock and added a K & Company, Brenda Walton, Small Wonders Girl Icon Sticker to the top, I took my white gel pen and added some white dots around the edge of the green card stock, added a Hero Arts, Adorable Baby Girl sentiment to the bottom, along with some pearls, lastly, I took a different shade of pink card stock and punched a border of Scalloped Scallop and attached to the base of the green card stock, I added dimensionals to the green card stock and placed onto the pink card.
A very quick, simple but sweet card to make.
I just wanted to leave a small comment, thanking everyone who has visited my blog and left me comments, also thank you for leaving such wonderful comments over at Flickr about my cards. Another big thank you to Jennifer McGuire and the Hero Arts team who have taken the time to Twitter me on my cards, this is such an honour and is truly appreciated.
If you would like to know more information on something that I have made etc, please leave me your name and email address in a comment, I won't publish those details, this will allow me to return any answers to you.
I hope you enjoy today's card, look forward in catching you all tomorrow.
Enjoy your day!

Hi everyone! Extremely late posting tonight, I had to work until 10pm tonight, so am just about to head to bed, so thought I would post this quickly then go. I hope that you have all had a great day, I have 1 more day left of work, cannot wait for the weekend to arrive.
Tonight's card I started with white card stock and ran it through my Cuttlebug, cutting 2 Labels 8 die cuts with my Spellbinder Die, I then stamped in 3 different places on one edge of the front part of the die cut card stock, Hero Arts, Big and Small Flowers stamp and also 2 times onto some scratch white card stock, along with a few leaves, I coloured the images with my Copics ( see photo below of Copics used). I cut out the 2 images of the flowers and the leaves that were on the scratch white card stock and mounted the cut out images over the main images on the die cut. I took my Hero Arts, Truly Appreciated stamp set and stamped a sentiment on the other side of the stamped flowers and leaves. I added some black stitching lines to the outside of the die cut, soften the edges with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen and lastly, added some pearls to the flowers and the die cut and glue both die cuts together to form the card.
Photo of Copics.
I hope that this posting makes sense.....LOL, rather tired tonight, please excuse any mistakes.
Well off to bed, have a good one!

Evening everyone! Very late post tonight, sorry about that, I have been at work and then had to come home and finish the card off, was feeling rather tired tonight, so took me a little longer to get motivated to finish the card.
I started with green card stock for card, I stamped Hero Arts, Design Block Flourish in Versamark Ink over the front of the card, set aside to dry, I took some pink card stock and ran it through my Cuttlebug, cutting it with my Spellbinder Die, Scalloped Square, I then cut a cream square of card stock to fit the centre of the die cut, glued the card stocks together and added dimensionals and placed onto card. I had some left over butterflies that I had cut of on my Silhouette machine the other day so I decided to colour them in using some Stampin Up, Certainly Celery ink, I then glued all 4 butterflies together making them appear to be dimensional (Jennifer McGuire used this technique). I spritzed the butterflies with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pearl and left to dry, once dry I added some pearls to the centre of the butterfly and glued to the cream card stock, I then drew the feelers on. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts, Valentines Saying sentiment stamp to the bottom of the card along with some pearls.
Another view of card.
Enjoy tonights card, something a little different to what I have been doing lately. A sweet card for any wonderful friend.
Have a great night for what is left. I will hopefully catch you all tomorrow.

Evening All! I gather that everyone had a good day today, being the start of the week, or did everyone have Mondayitis...LOL. It has been rather a warm, muggie day here today, thought that we might have received more rain, but nothing at present, keep wishing I suppose.
Well tonight's card, I decided to make another flower card, I started with pink card stock for the base card. I took some white card stock and ran it through my Cuttlebug embossing it with a Quickutz, Polka Dots Small folder, I then took my Ranger, Distress Inks, Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen and blended over the top of the embossed card stock until I was satisfied with the end result, I corner rounded the corners and set aside to dry. Whilst the card stock was drying I took another lot of white card stock and stamped a flower from the Hero Arts, Aritistic Borders and a stem from the Big and Small Flower stamp set with my Tuxedo Memento Black Ink, the flower I stamped 3 times and the stem once, I then coloured the images in with my Copics (see photo below for colours used) once coloured in I cut the stem and 3 different sizes of the flower and mounted them all together, this gave the image a layered look, I mounted the flower and stem onto the blended card stock with dimensionals and lastly, added a sentiment form the Hero Arts, Birthday Sayings stamp set at the bottom of the card and mounted the blended card stock with dimensionals to the pink card.
Here is a photo of the Copics used.
I hope that you are enjoying your evening, I will be back tomorrow with another post.

Hi everyone! So how was everyone's weekend? Mine has been hectic, Saturday and Sunday I had to work so not much time to play in the craft room, although, I have managed to make a card for tonight's post, and yes, it is another distress ink card........LOL.
Tonight's card I started with a piece of card stock that is similar to kraft, I stamped Hero Arts, Design Block Flourish stamp with Versamark Ink over the card stock and sewed around the edges of this piece of card stock, distressed the edges with my scissors and took my Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen and started to blend until I was completley satisfied with the end result, I set this aside so that the ink would have time to dry. Then using white card stock I cut 3 different sized butterflies out on my Silhouette Machine and blended them with Ranger, Distress Ink, Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender to get the desired look, I misted them with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pearl and once dried I glued them to the distressed piece of card stock. I added a Hero Arts, Truly Appreciated sentiment to the bottom of the card stock, lastly, I added some bling to match and mounted it onto the card with some dimensionals.
I hope that you like tonight's card and some inspiration from this card helps you to design one of your own.
Have great evening everyone.
(Also little reminder, don't forget to drop over to Jennifer McGuire's blog to read up on Cards for Kids, a wonderful drive that Jennifer and the other ladies are running, such a small gift that can bring a beautiful smile to a child and their families).

Afternoon all, I am currently on my lunch break so I have decided to post now instead of later on as I know that I am going to be exhausted by the end of my shift, we have been flat out.
So today's card is another, yes you guessed it distressed card, I know, I know I have a problem, but I just love these so much........LOL.
I started with a green card for the base card, I then took Hero Arts, Old Letter Writing and stamped it with Ranger, Distress Ink, Peeled Paint, I covered the entire front of the card and also blended the edges, I set this aside to dry. I then took some scratch white card stock and inked up a Hero Arts, Special Edition, Creative Tree with Ranger, Distress Ink, Peeled Paint and spritz it with some water using my Ranger, Mini Mister and stamped onto the white card stock, I then heat set the image and took my sewing machine and sewed around the edges (mind you not very good........LOL). I then distressed the edges and blended them with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen, I mounted it to the card using dimensionals. I added a sentiment to the bottom of the card using a brown strip of card stock and stamped a Hero Arts, Birthday Sayings sentiment and glued it to the green card.
Enjoy today's card, I look forward in showing another card tomorrow, and yes it could possibly be another distress card.........LOL, I just think when you are on a good wicket and love something then go for it.
Have a fabulous day.

Morning Everyone. I just wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate the winners of the first round of the Hero Arts competition, there was some amazing creations and everyone should be very proud of their works. To the girls that have won, enjoy your prize. Good luck to everyone for the next round.
Well decided to post early today as I have the rest of the house work to get done and make a card for a lady that will be here to pick it up this afternoon, so best get cracking.
Before you even say it, I know another Distress card, I can hear all the sighs.........LOL, sorry guys just on a roll with that yummy stuff at present.....LOL.
I started with green card stock for the base of card, then on a scratch piece of white card stock I stamped Hero Arts, Long Leaf Flower Border with Versamark Ink 3 times and each time masking the previous one already stamped, I embossed the image with clear embossing powder. I then got my trusty Ranger, Distress Inks, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick and started to blend into the middle, this as you all no is embossed resist, once I was happy with the result, I distressed the edges of the image and added some more Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy. I also decided that I needed to have a little something else to the image so I stamped Hero Arts, Good Fortune, Butterfly in 3 different spots on the image. I added some dimensionals to the image and added it to the card. At the bottom of the card I stamped Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed it with some American Crafts, Zing, White powder. Lastly, added some black pearls either side of the embossed sentiment.
I hope you like today's card, I will try and stay away from the Distress Inks today, I won't promise anything, because you have to admit that it is very addictive.........LOL.
Have a great Friday everyone.

Hi! Well talk about a busy day, getting groceries, trying to catch up on some blogs that I have not been able to view lately, clean part of my house and trying to do a card for today's posting, it really has been quite a day.
I decided to keep going with my blending tools seeing as they were out and make a male card. I started off with some Kraft card stock, as you can guess, one of my favourite card stocks....LOL. I then took my blending tools and blended Ranger, Distress Inks, Brushed Corduroy and Antique linen around the edges, to finish the look I took my Hero Arts, Design Block Tree stamp and stamped with Versamark Ink over the top and set aside to dry. I then took some scratch white card stock and stamped Hero Arts, Birds and Butterflies stamp with Colorbox Ink, Rainforest, Moss Green and cut around the image, I added some Ranger, Distress Ink, Shabby Shutters around the edge of image and attatched some dimensionals and placed it onto the card. Lastly, I added a sentiment from Hero Arts, Birthday Sayings to the bottom of the card and some bling.
Something that was very quick and yet easy to make at the same time.
As I said at the start of this post that I would share my little scrapbook haul that I got the other day. I received my parcel of goodies from Scrapbook Boutique. I cannot wait to try out the Binderie Punch and the new Embossing Folders for my Cuttlebug that have been exclusivly made for Australia, I also brought some more Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to try out and yes you guessed it some more Kraft card stock, along with a pink pack of card stock, a girl can never have too many products..........LOL, there are a couple of other items in my haul but I won't bore you too much with the details, the photo should speak for itself.
I hope you all have a great evening and I will catch you all tomorrow.

Hi everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your Wednesday, another lovely day here today and I have been stamping away.

Today's card I started with a lighter version of Kraft card stock, I cut it to the desired size and sewed around the edges of the card stock, I then took my Ranger, Distress Inks, Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen and blended the edges and also distressed them as well, I then stamped Hero Arts, Design Block Flourish in Versamark Ink over the top and set aside. I took some scratch white card stock and stamped 2 flower images along with 3 leaf images from the Hero Arts, Big and Small Flowers stamp set and coloured them with my Copics and cut the images out (see photo below for what colours I used). Once the flowers were coloured and cut out I then spritz them with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Marshmallow and set aside to dry. When the flowers had dried I assembled them altogether onto the card with some dimensionals. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the, Truly Appreciated stamp set, then added dimensionals under the card stock and attatched it to a cream card.
Photo of Copics used.
I am really happy with how this turned out today, so I do hope that you find some inspiration in my design.
I also just wanted to say a big thank you to all, for your lovely comments that have been left on my blog and Flickr, but also for everyone that has taken the time to come and visit my blog.
Have a great day everyone and I will catch you all tomorrow.

Hello! Not much news to report in today apart from the weather being beautiful, cannot wait for Autumn to arrive. Anyway, enough small talk lets get straight into the card for today.
I started with playing around with my distress inks and some watercolour paper, I decided to place Fired Brick, Dried Marigold, Dusty Concord and Shabby Shutters all at separate times onto my non stick craft sheet and spritz with water using my Ranger Mini Mister and place my watercolour paper over the ink to soak up, I let all 3 pieces of paper to dry and thought now what will I do with them? So I decided why not stamp an image of a flower over them to make instant colour onto the stamped image, hence I reached for my Hero Arts, Big and Small Flowers stamp set and stamped several times over the inked paper with the small flower and the little leaf that is in the set. I then proceeded to cut each piece out along with some additional leaves, I set these aside.
For the cards I used Spellbinders, Labels 1 largest die in the set and cut Kraft card stock 6 times to make fronts and backs for cards , I then stamped Dots background stamp from Darkroom Door in Versamark Ink and used clear embossing powder and heat set. I attatched the fronts and backs together to form a card, once the cards were made, I blended some Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy around the edges, I then attatched the flowers and leaves on all 3 cards with some dimensionals and glue dots and went on to make 3 tags with white card stock, blended the edges with Ranger, Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy, added a sentiments on each using Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings, Thank You Sayings and Birthday Sayings stamps. I finished the tags of with a little twine on the end of the sentiments and added dimensionals and placed onto the card.
I hope that you enjoy today's posting, I will be back tomorrow for another one.
Have a great night everyone!

Afternoon everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend as well as Valentines Day. I had a short day at work today so it was nice to come home and relax a bit.
Today's card I had made an extra sentiment tag yesterday whilst making the card that I have posted about on post below this one, so I decided to put it to use and make an extra card for today's posting.
I started with Papertrey Inks, Chocolate Brown card stock for base of the card, I then took some Colorbox Ink, Frosted White and stamped the Hero Arts, Dots and Flourishes stamps in 3 different places onto the brown card, set this aside and went onto making a poofy flower (Dawn McVey has a great tutorial on this) I spritz it with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pearl and left it to dry, once dry I added a K & Company, Hannah, Brad through the centre to hold it together. I added some dimensionals under the flower and added it to the card where the 3 stamped flourishes joined in the middle, I added some rhinestones to the flourishes and lastly, I added my sentiment tag with dimensionals to the bottom of the card along with a few more rhinestones. The sentiment tag I had cut 2 small strips of Papertrey Ink, Aqua Mist card stock and stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts, Thank You Sayings in black ink, and added dimensionals.
I hope that you find todays card inspirational and I do hope that you all have a fabulous Monday night.
Thanks for stopping by!

The card that I have made for you today, I started with Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate card stock for the base card I folded in half and set aside. I then took a scratch piece of Kraft card stock and stamped a flower from the Hero Arts, Artistic Borders stamp set in Colorbox Ink, Frost White all over the kraft card stock, blended the edges with a bit more of the Frost White ink added some Ranger, Stickles, Diamond to the stamens of the flowers, set aside to dry, once dry I added dimensionals under the stamped image and attatched to the card. I then cut 2 small strips of Papertrey Ink, Melon card stock to make a tag for the Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings sentiment that I stamped in black, lastly, added some bling to the ends of the sentiment and dimensionals to both pieces of the melon card stock and attatched to the bottom of the card.
Here is another view of the card, I tried to capture the stickles in the light, not a very good job unfortunately.........LOL.

Well hello everyone, hope you are having a great weekend so far, I know that I am, we are currently having some much needed rain, so that is always nice.
As promised last night I said that I would show you the rest of the card set that I made, this can be used as individual cards or made into a card set, either way they are super quick to make. I just wanted to mention that the inspiration came from Jennifer McGuire for these, from her butterfly card set that she made a few weeks ago, although mine are very different.
If you are wanting information on how these were made please read post below. The only thing different about how they are made is the different Cuttlebug and Quickutz embossing folders used and of course different sentiments.
Here is a group shot of the cards.
These are the individual shots, I decided to include these into tonight's post so you can then see each of their details. I have not included the one from last night though.

I hope you gain some inspiration from these cards and that you like what you have seen tonight.
I will be back tomorrow with another posting for you, have a great evening everyone.

Hello everyone, again I apologise for the late posting as I have been at work all day and did not knock off until very late tonight. I hope you have enjoyed your Friday, I am incredibly glad that it is finally Friday, I now have the weekend off and if I get my house work done, I will be able to go into the craft room and play.
Onto tonight's card, I made this late last night before going to bed, I decided I would make a collection of these cards, this will be a sneak peak of one of them, I will show you the rest tomorrow. I gained inspiration from the talented Jennifer McGuire.
I started with white card stock for the base card then ran it through the Cuttlebug, using the Swiss Dots embossing folder, set it aside. I then grabbed some scratch white card stock and stamped one of the designs out of the Hampton Art, Circle Birds stamp set with Colorbox Ink, Sky Gray, then punched the circle out using my Fiskars, 1 1/2 inch circle Squeeze Punch, I also punched another circle out of grey card stock using my 1 3/4 inch Ek Success Punch, I glued the stamped circle and attatched it to the grey punched circle. To finish the card I cut a strip of the same grey card stock along with some cream card stock and glued both strips together, I added a sentiment from Hero Arts, Thank You Sayings stamp set onto the cream card stock, this was then glued to the card along with the punched circles using dimensionals, lastly I added some bling underneath the sentiment.
Hope you like what you see and I will show you the rest of the same set tomorrow, something that is quick and easy to make for a gift.
Enjoy your Friday night and I will catch you all again tomorrow, I am off the watch Julie & Julia once again, just loved this movie anyone else watched it?
Have a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

Evening everyone, sorry about the late posting tonight, it has been incredibly hot here today and my craft room has been as well, so I have not felt like sitting in there to work on a card, but once the sun went off that side of the house I was able to go in there after tea and create one for you.
I started with white card stock for the base card, set it aside and reached for another piece of white card stock, I then grabbed my Ranger, Distress Inks, Shabby Shutters, Weathered Wood and Dusty Concord and blended the piece of white card stock to the desired affect that I was after, I then spritz it with Tattered Angels, Glimmer Mist, Pearl to give it a sheen. I stamped with black ink, butterflies from the Hero Arts, Birds and Butterflies stamp set over the now coloured card stock rounded the corners and added dimensionals under the stamped card stock and attatched to the card. I cut a small strip of purple card stock and punched a border with my Fiskars, Scalloped Sentiment border punch, I cut a small strip off the white card at the bottom then attatched the purple punched strip to the edge that had been cut, I added some purple bling to the scallops and lastly, I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Truly Appreciated stamp set and rounded the corners of the top of the card.
Here is another view of the card so that you can see the Glimmer Mist, it is hard to see in a photo but it does give the image a beautiful sheen.
Enjoy tonight's card along with what is left of your evening.
Hope to catch you tomorrow.
Have a great night.

I cut each image out and set aside. Hi All, I have decided to enter my very first Blog Challenge and that I would enter Lucy's polka dot challenge.
I made this card for a previous blog post, a little while ago, which contained a set of 3 cards, using Papertrey Ink, Everyday Button stamp set, I started with purple as the card base, then using a Spellbinders, Labels Eight die, I cut a piece of white card stock then sponged using Papertrey Ink, Aqua Mist ink over the die cut to make a sky affect, once completed I stamped the image onto the die cut and added some buttons. On the card itself I stamped Darkroom Door, Dots background stamp in Versamark ink and clear embossed the dots, once heat set I added my image with some dimensionals to the card and lastly a sentiment from the same stamp set to the bottom of the card.
I hope you like what you see.
Have a great night.

Afternoon all, I trust that everyone is enjoying their weekend, I do hope that some of you have been able to play in your craft room and create. Even though I have been working and have to work today I have managed to go into my craft room to create.
I created a card today that my friend asked me to make for her Dad who has just had back surgery, I don't know about anyone else, but I find that making male cards are not my strong point. However, with the help of the Hero Arts catalogue for inspiration I managed to create one and I hope that it is okay.
Kraft card stock was used for the base card, I then reached for some scratch white card stock and stamped the Hero Arts, Good Fortune, the lantern 3 times onto the card stock, I coloured the images with my copics (you can view a photo below to see what colours I used) I cut them out, set them aside then stamped the same image onto the card itself, I then placed the coloured lanterns on top of the stamped images with some dimensionals added some dragonflies from the same Hero Arts, Good Fortune stamp set added longer tails onto the dragonflies with my black pen. Lastly, stamped a get well message from the Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings set and added some black pearls to complete the card.
I hope that you like the card and that you take some extra time to browse through the other cards that I have made on my blog for some inspiration.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by.

I started with Kraft card stock for the base card, I then stamped the little Japanese Girl from the Hero Arts, Good Fortune stamp set and the Fan that is also in the same set onto the card, I coloured both of the images with my prismacolor pencils, added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Valentines Sayings. Lastly, stamped some little dragonflies from the Hero Arts, Good Fortune stamp set over the card to add to the card.
Hope you like what you see.
Enjoy your Saturday night, anyone doing anything exciting?

Afternoon everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your day, I know I am, we are currently having some nice well needed rain so I am loving that.
I am also having a great day because last night I took the plunge and submitted cards for a competition that Hero Arts is running at present. I joined the Hero Arts Flickr group and was overwhelmed by the response that I have received already about my cards, there has been the most beautiful comments made and I thank each and everyone of you for that, but I am also excited because through taking the plunge and joining this group I have had several visitors to my blog so this was exciting and now another 2 followers, YAY! LOL.
I also have a special thank you to make to my dear friend Evelyn who gave me the encouragement, support and push to drive myself to do this, and I cannot thank her enough. So thanks Ev you are a true gem.
Okay onto today's card, my friend asked me to make some cards for her so that she was organised this year to send to people, so today's card I made an owl card for her, her Aunty just loves owls. As do I.........LOL.
I started with a Hero Arts note card, Pink, I then took a purple and pink piece of card stock and stamped Hero Arts, Antique Flower background stamp onto the purple card stock with Versamark ink and on the pink piece of card stock I stamped Hero Arts, Dots and Flowers background stamp in a light pink ink, I wanted to make my own paper image. I punched a border strip on the pink cardstock with my Fiskars, Scalloped Sentiment border punch, attatched the pink and purple card stocks together, then added a strip of cream to cover the joined edges and glued it to the card. I then reached for some scratch white card stock and stamped a little owl from the Kelly Panacci, Twit Twoo stamp set and coloured the owl in with my Prismacolor pencils, I cut the owl out and added dimensionals underneath and placed the owl onto the card, drew some little legs on. I added a Hero Arts sentiment to the top of the card and some dots using my white gel pen to add another dimension to the card, lastly I added some liquid pearls to the dots and flowers punched border stamped card stock.
Love this little owl, and if you know me I love to make owl cards...........LOL.
Enjoy the card, let's hope that it gives you a little inspiration.
Have a great Friday, think of me tomorrow at work all day!!

Evening all, nearly the end of the week. I have had a busy day today, went and got my hair cut for which I was in real need of seeing as I had the last cut back in the first week of December, so I was really feeling like the woolie mammoth. But now I feel human again.
Tonight's card I made using a Hero Arts stamp. I started with kraft card stock for the base card, I then grabbed some pieces of paper out of my 6 x 6 Basic Grey, Nook and Pantry paper pad and also some paper out of my 8 x8 Making Memories, Ledger Paper pad. I stamped Hero Arts, Artistic Borders, flower onto the 3 sheets of paper, I then cut each of the flowers out making sure I cut the middle 2 smaller in size, I placed a Basic Grey, Nook and Pantry brad through the centre to hold the flower together. I also stamped the flower stem from the same Hero Arts stamp set onto some green paper from the Basic Grey, 6 x 6 Lemonade paper pad, I cut the stem out and glued it to the card, I then added dimensionals under the flower and placed it on top of the stem, I added a sentiment to the base of the card, soften the edges of the sentiment with Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linnen and placed some bling to the bottom of the sentiment. Lastly, I added stitching lines with my white gel pen around the edge of the card to give it a border.
Enjoy tonights card along with your evening and I will hopefully catch you all tomorrow.
Have a good night.

Morning everyone. How is your Wednesday going, remember, great day of the week, because it is the middle and it is the downhill run to the weekend, but not for me unfortunately, I work this weekend, boohoo! Someone has to do it I suppose..........LOL.
I had a late night last night, in between watching Grey's Anatomy and making a card I got to bed late, glad that I was able to have a sleep in today. By the way wasn't Grey's Anatomy great, so sad about George though, cannot wait until next week.
Onto today's card, I decided that I wanted to keep having more practice with my Copics, for which I need a lot. I stamped onto some scratch white card stock Hero Arts, Wallpaper Flowers stamp in Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured the image with my copics. I then cut the image out and decided that the white was a little too stark so, I blended some Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linnen around the edge to soften it and mounted it with dimensionals to an aqua coloured card, at the bottom of the card I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts, Truly Appreciated stamp set to finish the card off.
Here is a photo of the Copics that I used to colour the image.
I hope that you enjoy this card as much as I do.
Thanks for visiting.
Catch you next time.

Hi All, hope you have had a fantastic day. I had an early start this morning for work and with not much sleep last night I am surprised that today's card came together. Although, not sure about it.
I used white card stock for the base card, then on a piece of Stampin Up's Sage Shadow card stock I stamped the Hero Arts, Dots and Flowers background stamp in Colorbox Ink, Rainforest, Celadon. I then added some Ranger Liquid Pearls, White Opal as accents to the background. I had already pre made a poofy flower (thanks Dawn McVey tutorial), attatching a K & Company Margo Fabric Stitched Brad through the centre to hold the flower together, I then stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts, Truly Appreciated stamp set to the top of the card, attatched the stamped background card stock to the bottom of the card and added dimensionals under the flower and attatched it to the card also, lastly added some pearls for some added interest.
Enjoy tonight's card, I should be able to take better photos of my cards soon as I just purchased a new light tent and camera stand, just need to get some lamps and I should be all set, so in the mean time bear with me.....LOL.
Have a lovely night everyone.

Evening all, hope you have all had a fabulous day. Not much news to tell you all so I will get straight into today's card.
I finally got around to using some of the Bella, Ever After line that I picked up at my local Scrapbook store not long ago. I started with white card stock for the base card, I then added a strip of Fairy Tale paper along the bottom of the white card, then got out my trusty new sewing machine that I got for my birthday of my Mum, stitched along the top edge of the paper and card. I made a poofy flower and attatched one of the Ever After line brads through the centre to hold the flower together (thanks to Dawn McVey for this great idea). I added a small loop of the ribbon in this collection to the under side of the flower, then proceeded to attatch the flower to the card. I added a Hero Arts sentiment and lastly some blue pearls to finish the card.
This line from Bella stumped me for some reason, I loved it when I first saw it and I still do, but could not think of how and what I wanted to make...........LOL, sometimes that happens to me, I call it brain dropping out of gear..........LOL.
Have a great night everyone.
