So it is another day of 12 Trendy Days of Christmas and I thought that I would share a video on how I created the card (mind you you will have to excuse the weird angle and the poor quality, this is going to take sometime to get this right..LOL).
Without further ado, here is the video, make sure to scroll down further to view the photo of the card and instructions on how I created it.
I took the stamp set from Hero Arts, Merry Christmas Trees and inked the trees up using some distress ink, vintage photo, stamping the trees onto some pink Basic Grey patterned paper, trimming around each of the trees and setting aside. Next, trimming some Kraft card stock to form a card and taking the Hero Arts, Magical Background stamp that was inked with Colorbox Ink, Frost White, I stamped the entire front of the card. Taking some white card stock, I tore along one side to form snow, I adhered this to the base of the card. Taking the trees that I had trimmed out previously I adhered these to the snow card stock using foam dimensionals, taking more white card stock, I trimmed a piece to form a tag and stamped a Hero Arts, sentiment from the Holiday Sayings stamp set, then adhering the tag to the front of the card. Lastly, I added some rhinestones to the trees and after the video I added some rock candy, distress stickles for added shine to the snow, unfortunately you are not able to view this in the photo.
I hope you enjoy viewing the video and the card, with some practice I will get this videoing down pat, LOL, actually it is rather addictive when you don't have to talk..LOL.
