I took Kraft card stock that was trimmed to form a card and the Swirly Tree stamp, I inked it up with some Memento Black Ink and stamped onto the front of the card. Next, colouring the tree in with my Prisma Color Pencils, once I was happy with how I coloured the tree in, I added Glossy Accents to the baubles on the tree. I then added a sentiment under the tree and using my white gel pen I drew lines around the image to form a frame.
A super quick and easy card to make and in fact I think I will be making several of these ready for Christmas.
I hope that this card today gives you inspiration to give a one layered card a go.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
Hugs

CUTE! Love how you decorated your tree with Glossy Accents! Great little bird perched in there too! :)
LOVE this, Joy! Such a fun card!
I seriously thought this card was colored with copics until I read what you wrote about it. The coloring is amazing! I love coloring + kraft. Beautiful!
Wow Joy, love this card. That tree is super cute. :)Judith
So fun! Love the glossy accents!
That is so pretty! I love the shading and the Glossy Accents on the ornaments. That's one nice thing about colored pencils - they don't bleed when you put the glossy stuff on them.
Love this whimsical tree, Joy! Beautifully colored with the pencils! Hugs to you!
Love your work Joy - and the colouring is beautiful - you should use the pencils more often ;)
