So this is the second post for the day so please don't forget to scroll down and see all the exciting news that is happening.
The next exciting news that begins today is the 2nd week of my Pairing Up Challenge with Robin and Vera, so super excited to see what these truly talented ladies have created. So today we kick off with Vera choosing a card from Robin's Flickr photostream, and if you visited our creations from last week, you will know that we decided to do an Inspired By Challenge.

This was the card that Vera chose from Robin's collection, and I have to say when I first saw this beautiful card from Robin, I was truly blown away, her talent amazes me and inspires me each time she creates and this card is no exception, the way she created this scenery card is awe inspiring..and let me tell you, it was hard to come up with something that even comes close to this truly beautiful masterpiece.
Here is my take on Robin's card:

I wanted to create several focal points on my card, cutting a Spellbinders, Classic Circle Die and stamping the Hero Arts, Silhouette Grass and embossing it with white embossing powder. Next, covering the whole circle by blending over the top using Ranger, Distress Ink, Walnut Stain, creating an embossed resist technique, distressing the edges and applying more ink and setting aside. To create the base of the stamped area, I took a piece of white card stock and covered the area of white card stock by blending, Ranger, Distress Ink, Peeled Paint, Bundled Sage and Antique Linen. Once happy with the blending, I took the Hero Arts, Earth Flowers and stamped the grass stamp using Peeled Paint. Adding some twine across the bottom of the stamped card stock and then cutting a label using Spellbinders, Label 1 die, cutting the die cut in half to create a different looking label, then stamping a sentiment from the Hero Arts, big Hugs stamp set, once stamped adhering it to the bottom of the main stamped card stock. Lastly, adhering the circle using foam dimensionals and then more foam dimensional to attach to the card.
Here are the products I used to create this card:

I hope you enjoyed viewing the card and don't forget to check out Robin and Vera's cards, I know that is what I am off to do.
Also remember that this is the 2nd post for today so please scroll down and see the other exciting news :)
