Sketch Pen!

Hi Everyone! So alass it is Friday, and I am ever so pleased, what a week! So any major plans for the weekend? I have much cleaning, washing and hopefully crafting to do, but on Sunday I will be attending a baby shower, so looking forward to that.

Today I wanted to share a card that I created for Scrapbook Boutique using the sketch pen for the silhouette machine. This was my first time at using the sketch pen and I have to say it was really easy and lots of fun, this also allowed me to colour in the image as well and seeing as I am right into my Copics it was perfect.

Taking my blade holder out of the machine and inserting the sketch pen, I downloaded the image that I wanted to sketch from my library and open it up on the Robo Master page, I sized it to fit on the card and hit cut on the computer, instead of cutting the machine sketched out my design. Once the machine was finished sketching, I coloured the image in with my Copics and cut the image out, I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Essential Messages stamp set. I cut pink card stock to form the card and adhered the sketch image using foam dimensionals.

A very quick and simple card to make, but still allowing me to use my favourtie technique, colour.

So I also wanted to share some Bits and Pieces tonight:

Scrapbook Boutique are running there second challenge and if you are an Australian resident you are able to enter the challenge, so why not pop on over to the blog and check it out.

This card by Jill blew me out of the water when I saw it, you can see it HERE, amazing talent that inspires me each time a card is created.

Also Vanessa created a card using Tim Holtz products...beautiful work, view it HERE.

How about this stunning design by Maile...love the colours...check it out HERE.

How about this truly beautiful creation by Tami.

I fell in love with Deborah's sweet owls.

Lastly, this sweetie of a card by Libby.

So hopefully next week I will have some goodies to share with you again, I was a little naughty and paid my layby out sooner then expected so it is on it's way and I am also excited as I will be receiving my first lot of Lawn Fawn and Amuse stamps, I found a place online that was fantastic and I cannot wait to get my goodies to start inking them up.

Okay so I am off to watch a little TV before heading to bed.

Oh and nearly forgot, I have had a few people again asking me questions through the comments section, I cannot comment back to you if you have left this, please email me, I think one was from someone called "Kimz" so if this is you please email me, you can find this on the side bar of my blog. I also had a lady ask me if they could link me on their blogs, go for it and thanks! Please contact me if you wish to ask something, I will try and reply as soon as I can.

Hugs

JOY
