Sarah Kay

Hi Everyone! So I am back in the land of blogging again. I have spent Friday and Saturday in Canberra at the Craft and Quilt Show, I had a great time visiting all the stores, the only downside to it was that it was just way too cramped, they need a bigger space for their booths and also for people to access it with ease, but all in all it was a great time, I will share a photo in the next couple of days of the goodies that I brought. So after spending time in Canberra and also nearly having to be taken to the hospital on the Friday night that we were there, I returned home to some much needed rest, with that being said, I am feeling a lot better today.

So I have spent the last couple of days away from the blog for the above reasons and also that I needed to focus on a little house work before getting back into the swing of crafting and blogging again. So I had a very big day in the house today and it is all back to normal and now it is me time to craft, YAY!

So enough waffle from me, how about I share a card that I created using a Sarah Kay Stamp.

I started with cream card stock, cut to side, folded in half to form a card and using the Hero Arts, Flourish Background stamp I inked it up using the Hero Arts, Soft Sand ink and covered the entire front of the card and set aside. Next, taking some white card stock, I took the Sarah Kay stamp, Spring Blossoms and stamped it onto the card stock, I coloured the image in with my Copics and cut it to size. I took some blue card stock to match the coloured image and adhered both together, once adhered together I took some foam dimensionals and attached them to the back of the card stocks and adhered the coloured image to the front of the card. Lastly, I added a Hero Arts sentiment from the Thank You Sayings set at the bottom of the card.

Here is another view of the card.
