Cuckoo!

Hi Everyone! So how was your day? Mine was a day inside as it was freezing here and raining, not that I mind as it gave me time to play in the craft room, although not much happened in there either, it seems as though a little bit of my mojo is deciding to leave, I hope it doesn't go altogether.

So today I am sharing with you another Cuckoo clock card that I had made for my week challenge with Jennifer, but decided not to use it, and thought that I would share it with you today.

Taking the Hero Arts, Cuckoo stamp set, I stamped the clock onto white card stock twice and coloured it in with Copics, I cut one of the clocks out and the other I cut the flower and the centre of the clock out on the second one, I adhered both of these pieces to the main clock, also adding small dots of white gel pen for added interest. Next, taking a Hero Arts, Lilac note card I stamped the entire front of the card with the clock face that was in the same stamp set using Hero Arts, Soft Lilac ink. Once I was happy with the front of the card I stamped the cuckoo clock on the card and added the coloured cuckoo to this using foam dimensionals, I also coloured pendulums. I added a sentiment from the same set to the bottom of the card and also some rhinestones to finish.

I love how one stamp set can be used for so many different stamping techniques, like creating your own backgrounds, so why not try something like this using one of your stamp sets.

Here is what I used to create the card and you can buy most of the products HERE.

So I am off to watch a little TV.

Have a great night!

Hugs

JOY
